My July subs have taken a crazy route that most of you are used to by now... I'm used to the boxes taking a trip from Ontario, CA to Sparks, NV then to Fisher, IN and into Cincinnati, OH and get delievered to me the next day... Well, they've started making an extra stop in Erlanger, KY (which is literally just across the river from Cinci) which has added a day before going to Cinci. But this month... oy... this month the box hit Erlanger and then went to Des Moines, IA and then to Cinci! Nothing logical about those logistics though I should see the box today... I hope... EDIT: Just realized that it's passed by Louisville (the nearest USPS hub) three times before passing through there today to get to my PO box (yes, it's been delivered! yay!!!)

I can understand that frustration...
I bought a figure on eBay recently. It started from Delaware and came to New Jersey arriving at my usual distribution center which means I should have had it the next day. Well nothing came the next or the day after. Suddenly the tracking updated that it was sent to KENTUCKY! After being processed through their sorting facility came BACK to my local distribution/ sorting facility and then arrived at my home!

My packages used to make about five stops in Texas before making it to Austin. Now they go the Fishers, IN route, with about three new stops.

I don't know if it will help, but when I subscribed this time, I went with UPS for less than $5 more (it seems to have went down from last year). I am patient too, and this time my stuff came in about 10 days, but usually it's a minimum of two weeks and I am tired of seeing it being transferred to my post office for three of those days and then sitting a day or two after they take delivery of it.

If I could get UPS to deliver to a PO box I wouldn't have a problem with that, what I have a problem with is the random places the UPS drives tend to leave my boxes when I do have to get something shipped that way... I don't understand why PO delivery is seldom an option with UPS deliveries online, I don't know how many shipments I've gotten that ship UPS or FedEx to a certain point and then the final delivery is turned over to USPS... makes no sense to me...

Starts in Cali and needs to get to AZ. Passes through THREE other states before it gets here. And we border Cali!!!

Well, I'm in CA one hour away from where the shipments originate from. But my shipments go to NV first before coming back to CA. I used to get them the next day. Now it takes 5 days or more to get to me.

I changed both of my subs to UPS this year as well. I just can't put up with it anymore. The extra $5 is so worth it.

Hmmm...something to chew on I think. I certainly understand folks frustration with your package being shipped around. I've made a few comments about it myself. For those who have used the UPS, will my postman eventually deliver it anyway? If so, then I think I'll stick with what I have right now. Thanks for your input.

I have UPS on the Voltron sub and the UPS guy drops it at my door. No usps intervention at all

I think when I bought the Justice Guild JLU pack way back when, UPS shipped it from Cali. (I'm in UT,) and it went all the way to I think it was Pennsylania or NY, or just back far east somehwere, lol. Either way, it was cwazy!... almost the same thing happened recently with Mongul though (it was a different shipping company too) So yeah, Mattel definitely needs to ask what their shipping companies are doing. I mean, I still got my stuff fairly quickly but it was weird... lol.

My Voltron sub does the same thing.emer
If I ever do another sub I'll bump up to ups shipping in a heartbeat. The difference in price isn't worth the globe trotting the package has to do to get here.
I remember watching mine go from CA to TX to MO to KY and I can't remember where else before coming to LA.

They LOVE Sparks, Neveda. My stuff goes through there are well. From the other direction, however, as it goes from Cali to Arizona.
