The new Jollibee Green Lantern figure looks a heck of a lot like it could belong to JLU. Especially the body type. Take a look-> http://dchallofjustice.com/news/?p=13223
This makes me optimistic for the possibility of a Mattel version.

Thank you for posting this. The figure looks pretty good & I like the extras. Too bad he's not a little bigger, though. Now to figure out how to get a hold of one with out paying a fortune on ebay

Wow. I couldn't disagree more. I think the resemblance is only due to the fact that JLU and the Jollibee figures are both based on the Bruce Timm art style. The style of the figures on the other hand doesn't match up well. The arms look way too long for one thing. In the comparison pick at the bottom Aquaman's arms/hands only hang as low as his mid thigh but GL's right arm/hand hangs down to his knee. Personally I think the GL figure looks terrible.

This makes me think that Mattel should solicit their Green Lantern sculpts to fast food joints. They'd be the best toy pack-ins ever, and Mattel would recoup some of their investment!
