I think I would have rather they never showed the Consept case, most of that stuff I would have went crazy over. Really just the ninjas in the back of hte ninja part (The ones to the front were pretty cool) would have been the majority of what I would have avoided. 100 times better than the Retaliatio stuff.

Well the FCC was announced-- At 23.00 a figure-- plus shipping (and thats the part that worries me) I advantage is you at least get to see the full subscription before you buy in-- but it seems pretty steep (although I guess its the same as all of the other offerings)--I just think they are going to gouge even more on the shipping-- and charge the extra 1.00 for bubble wrap --

Glad I"m not a completist with the Joes.
Can you get singles at all? I wouldn't mind a Big Boa.

You can try your luck at BBTS: http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/sear ... bscriptionThe four most popular characters (Big Boa, Cover Girl, Dice, and Jinx) have been selling out and coming back in stock repeatedly since the listings went up on Saturday. Other than that, singles will more than likely be offered on the Joe Club website at some point, but then you're taking a "Matty"-type risk. (Worse, actually, because at least Matty tells you ahead of time when stuff's going up for sale)

And then people will pay even more for them on Ebay later. It's a never ending cycle of mo' money, mo' money, mo' money! I love GI Joes, but I have no interest in paying obscenely high prices for them. The Joe Club has consistently sold stuff for way more than I want to pay, and thus I have no Joe Club figures - and it's not going to be any different with this sub. The price for all the figs plus a membership plus shipping, yuck - remember when Joes were 2.99 way back in the day? Of course, my Mom didn't let me buy them. Now I can buy whatever I want and these Joe figures are selling for $25 or more. The times they are a changin'.

Even at club prices, the figures come out to over $30 a piece when you factor in shipping. Way too rich for my blood. Good thing the only figure I wanted was Jinx. So it's no big loss for me.

Ordered my subscription after work yesterday. The price averaged out to $28.62 each with shipping and insurance. That's about $5 more per figure than this year's convention set, which makes sense without multiples of army builders and the additional expense of postage and new shipping boxes.

Now sell me your Jinx for $28.62.

Once I got the email I signed up for the subscription on Saturday.
Now if only they reissue the convention set and offer the other Iron Grenadier figures at the joe club shop.
Sucks I missed out on the con set since the IG's are my favorite enemy faction.

A buddy of mine offered to sell me his for $37 shipped, and I balked at that. I guess I'm your typical cheap Joe collector. *shrugs shoulders*
