I've been hitting Tuesday Mornings consistently for 2 years now and I've never seen one DCUC product. Not fair. And that's the place I was sure some Green Lantern stuff would hit since there was so much Avatar and Star Trek merch in the past. I haven't found GL Movie Masters at TJ Maxx but I did find a ton of Young Justice 6 inch figures.
Really kicking myself for spending full price on all these GL MM's. I could never find sales. I have all of Parallax except for Hector's piece and his piece is pretty much unnecessary as long as you have the stand. I've been too busy to hunt around, unlike previous years, so they could be out there.

That sounds rough! Only recently have they showed up in my Ross and Marshalls stores. I never an interest in this but for $3.99 a piece why not. I had to buy Hector Hammond and Zed online though. I felt cheesed though, Hal, Tomar Re, Mr. Potato head and Fish guy (thanks Shellhead for those wonderful nicknames ) all have the same damn parts. Like exactly the same and interchangeable. Everyone else has unique parts. Even Hector, Krona and Morro have unique parts that all slightly differ from one another. It just seemed cheap over all.

Cost effective. The fewer molds needed, the less it costs to make. I have decided I don't like it and am glad I don't have one. CCC.

The four that are the same... some are already turned or twisted so that the monster mouth end is angle differently but they're the same length and mirror one another. You can twist them back to look identical. So I guess that would be his reasoning behind that. Now the bottom three legs, those are slightly different from one another in length and detail at the tip where the open mouth is. But hey, even the picture at Comic Con is put together wrong according to the instructions.

He also claimed that ALL GL would be on shelves for purchase by the 1st of (either March or April, I forget which), but the TRU exclusive construct set did not appear for over 9 months after that date. I guess we know what his word is worth now. CCC.

Yeah, let's rag on the one guy who's actually trying to help us out. Without him, there'd be no final JLU six packs. Without him, there'd be no MOTUC. Without him, I have no doubt there'd be no DCUC subs. He's doing such a terrible job! Want some cheese with your whine, gentlemen?

Shellhead, not that I'm defending anyone, I don't see what's wrong with pointing out something like he was wrong about the Parallax parts. Albeit he could have made a mistake or perhaps his information doesn't match what actually passes but I don't think this is whining, I see REAL whining on the Doctor Who toy forums...

Why do you hate it? It's a great line.
I could see having to interest in it, but hate's a pretty strong word.
I don't hate JLU, I just have no interest in it and believe it to be VERY over-rated.

No I hate JLU I also agree it;s over rated, I think that's one of the few things Shellhead and I agree on. I have no interest in MOTU but I like the line if anything for my childhood days I was huge into He-Man... I don't hate anything or anyone save for JLU..

I like 1/18 scale. The first figures I ever got were that scale, Star Trek. I hated when Playmates screwed up and changed the scale. What is nice is when lines are cross compatible in scale, so I like DCIH, MU, GI Joe, Star Wars, etc. Part of this has to do with being a customizer. MOTUC has almost no customizing value to me, is practically a scale unto itself, and the characters are deliberately overly muscular. At least JLU could be used to make the occasional oversized character, as can Movie Masters. I dislike JLU, Thundercats(old), Silverhawks, Dick Tracy, but I just outright hate MOTUC.
CCC.

I love Marvel Universe, Star Wars, and DCIH. I don't like JLU. The toys, not the cartoon. I just think they're overrated too. I accidently fell for the Movie Masters stuff because of the nice detail. I'm actually falling out of love with DCUC/DCIE a little. I'm just trying to finish some teams and be done with those.
On topic, I finally found something. An MM Sinestro for $3 at Tj Maxx. Unbelievable. I am not paying full price for anything again.
