I have a Super Powers question. A person I know is thinking of selling his entire carded collection. I want to make him a good offer but I have no idea what they are worth. He has all 33 figs still on card + Clark Kent. What would be a good offer for all of those? I don't want to cheat him but I also don't want to pay too much. What amount should I offer? Thanks for the help.
Also I have no idea about the card backs and the versions of card backs. None of that matters to me. I just want all 34 figs to display in my nerd cave. Just assume that they are all the common card backs. Thanks again

Some things to consider is yellowing bubble, dents, cracks and other damage to the bubble. As Daniel pointed out on the other thread card condition is important as well as the variations of Cardback to figure! Some pics would help to determine a fair asking price for both persons involved.

I don't have any pics. I am not sure if I am going to keep them on card or not. It all depends on the condition he determines at the time of sale. He sold my cousin all the Mego Star Trek stuff with the condition that if he ever sells the Mego stuff my cousin gives him first chance to buy it all back. So if he tells me to leave them all in package then i will but if he doesn't then I might open them all. A ball park figure is all I am looking to get. Like $500? $1000?

A full set sold recently for $2,025: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Super-Powers-Complete-Set-or-Lot-Kenner-Batman-Superman-Cyborg-All-complete-/170900344337?pt=US_Action_Figures&hash=item27ca744e11 There are a couple of Canadian cards with very yellowed bubbles in that lot, and a couple of the bigger money draws from wave 3 have yellowed bubbles as well, but for the most part they look to be in good shape. Whether two grand for that set in that condition is worth it to you is another story. Personally I would think, depending on condition/cardback style, that offering somewhere around $1,500 as a starting point for negotiation would be fair, but probably expect to pay a little more than that. If both you and your friend do your homework you should be able to come to a price that is fair to both of you.

Thank you very much for that information. that at least gives me a ball park idea of how much I should offer him. Appreciate the help.

If it were cheaper, I'd probably think about picking that lot up. I can never have too many Super Powers Flash figures.
