It's a VERY nice set with a zombie cook, two Vamps, a Frankenstein, and a couple ghosts.

the Polybagged Ghost w/Gandfather clock set is in the "halloween" aisles at Target for $3.99
Picked up a set for my son to open and build today, and another to set aside for use as a stocking stuffer with he opens the Haunted House later this year. Plus, I'll be getting the Zombie buggy polybag set since my purchase was over $75 (plus FREE shipping! Thanks Lego!) to add to the stocking as well.
I just hope that I can hold out long enough to keep it for him for christmas otherwise I'm back to looking for that "big" gift item...

Lego store had a new Halloween 3 pack.... Witch, Ghost, and Zombie (similar if not exactly the minifigure one). It comes with accessories for the figures and creepy creatures and a tombstone. Pretty cool set. $14.99

Anybody want my zombie driver polybag Lego put into my $75 lego.com order? I'll sell it cheaply. PM me.
I've decided the Superhero, LOTR, and occasional SW set is enough to collect for now. I'm staying out of the MH line.

My son convinced Gramma to take him to the Lego store and pick up the Ghost Train for him for his birthday today. The look on his face when he came home with that box and the polybagged would've put every canary eating cat to shame. The Devil himself couldn't have been any more pleased. And ... he saw the Haunted House box in the store and now he can't stop talking about it. Can't wait to see the look on his face when we open that one Christmas morning. .. and in case any one questions just how much he likes this line of Legos, his Birthday cake has been commissioned as a Monster Fighter cake. I'll snap some pics at the party and share them all here after its done. He wants to be a Monster Fighter for Halloween (and I'll need to be a monster ). He wants to know if he can repaint his room with all the moonstones and Monsters hovering over his bed. Yeah, its that bad.

To be honest, once we get that Haunted House all put together and we have the entire line up on display, it'll be a bit of a bittersweet feeling.
I really hope this theme carries forward and we get a slew of new offerings next year.

I gave in and bought the Haunted House. Is it too expensive? Yes. Do I regret my purchase? Not at all. I love the design of the house... it's very Psycho.
I do hope the line continues even though I haven't heard any rumors of it for next year. I saw some of the designer's original sketches for the line and it included a ghost ship and Medusa. I'd love to see that figure made.

I didn't make it, we had it commissioned.
The cake was chocolate, the train was vanilla cake. The figures are rice crispy treats with fondant on them.
Every kid at the party got a character to gnaw on. Wish I had taken some pictures of that...
(also, if anyone can help me... I can't seem to get the pics to link directly and appear in the thread. I know I've done it before, but for the life of me I can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong now)
