Just thinking about this in the Imaginext thread...
the Justice League is coming along nicely with some of the newer announcements...
We've got: *Batman *Superman *Green Lantern *Cyborg ... and supposedly ... *Aquaman *Hawkman
We're missing a Flash, Martian Manhunter, and Wonder Woman (who I assume we'll never get).
Not a bad line up and definitely one I look forward to finishing!

Okay, just going on Ben's post above, there has never been any news what-so-ever about a Flash figure in the line, right?... I ask because he's out there. I picked one up at the K-Mart in New Albany, IN yesterday. There was a 4-sided display out in the aisle two sides were Heroes World and two were Imaginext and Flash was just randomly in there with the other non-talking figures. There was only one in the display when I found it and it didn't look like anything had been bought from it. Cardback shows the Aquaman boat and the Hawkman figure, I think those are the only items on there that I haven't seen at retail. Here's an auction for one -- http://www.ebay.com/itm/DC-Superfriends ... 416add96cd -- and I don't recall seeing that Batman set before... EDIT: Just realized... there's no Robin in the line, is there?...

NO, there hasn't been a Robin yet and that Flash has come out completely by surprise. If you happen to stumble across another, I would love to get my hands on it (and Hawkman and Aquaman as well). I haven't seen anything locally except for the new Voice Comm figures (which my son and I agreed we aren't going to pick up. His Deafness means toys with "talking" features are fairly pointless ... ) and the eBay prices right now are a bit more than I really would like to spend (even though I am still watching the current BIN with a twitchy finger ...)

ok .... and a quick run around the net shows me that these figures might just end up being Kmart exclusives.
Hero World Hawkman, Aquaman w/vehicle, and Flash are all listed on Kmart.com's site (and it is the only retailers site they are currently listed on) but are currently "unavailable". I have tagged them to email me when they become available so we'll see what happens.
However, with Kmart.com's atrocious history I am really very hesitant about trying to order these from there.
Guess Kmart goes back into my "toy run" trips ...

I gotta say a big "Thank You" to Jim for letting us know that there is a display at Kmart.
I decided on my way home tonight I would stop in to a store that I don't normally go into and I am glad I did. I picked up a Hawkman and a Flash figure. The display was picked over and the Flash was actually hidden in a torn corner!
They didn't have the Aquaman set, so I'll check another Kmart either tomorrow or monday to see if I can score that.
And, just so everyone knows, my store had several tags up on the normal aisle shelves that ALL Hero World, All Imaginext figures were "buy one, get one 50% off". And, yes, it applies to the new items in the display as well! So I got both figures for just over $16 after tax.
Yay.
Aquaman, Atrocitus, and I am done with the line as far as I know...

Congrats, Ben! If only I'd had the luck finding the HW Hawkman that I did with the old Super Friends Hawkman... Ollie's must've had 30 of those things in-stock...
(kind of expect Luthor and Zod to be added to the line next year if it's still going... Bizarro would be great, too...)

Luthor would be great as would a Bizarro. I don't think there are any villains at all in the line unless you are one of the lucky few that got an Atrocitus.
Now we really just need a Martian Manhunter and we have a "complete" male JL. And, yes, I would love to see a Wonder Woman get into the line in some fashion but I highly doubt it will happen.
And with the introduction of the Voice Comm line, are we still going to be getting these "basic" figure versions?
Maybe that is the question for the Matty QnAs.....

Joker (2 versions) Mr. Freeze Penguin (and Dex-Starr, if you want to count him seperately... ) Puzzled as to why they haven't re-used the basic Joker body for Two-Face (he is wearing a normal tie in that one, though it is the figure's gimmick). As far as the basic versions go, I've seen them clearanced out at some Walmarts but not at others. That display at K-Mart was the best find I've seen in a long time, perhaps the basics are now exclusive to them as you suggest above?...

Did the 4-way display have older figs like basic Batman and Supes? I'd like to get the whole line in one shot with this sale. If I can find a Kmart with the display.

Picked up Flash and Hawkman at TARGET last night. They didn't scan, so the cashier sold them to me for $6.99 each. So, check those TARGET's too. regards, geoff

These are going to be hard to come by. Would love it they were available on a retailer's web site.

They are.
On Kmart.com.
But, man, if you don't already know, that is "Buyer Beware" to the nth degree.
If you order them, you'll get .... something... from the Hero World line. no guarantee it will be what you actually ordered though.
The site is the single most horrendous etail experience out there, and that's saying a lot knowing how much we all bag on and hate the DR/Matty site......
