Nice looking figure, but not suprisingly he comes with ZERO accessories. They probably all will.
Would have been nice if he actually DID come with his journal. That would have been a nice touch.

It annoys me that Mattel is balking at the suggestions from fans to make Bubastis too. It would be so easy to just use the Panthor or Battle Cat body from their He-Man line. All it would require is a new headsculpt and a repaint, so the production costs would be minimal. It sure would be a nice SDCC exclusive for 2013 to go with the Watchmen line, but alas...

Shoot, they were too cheap to make Nekrons scythe. I seriously doubt that Bubastis was ever even considered.

Bubastis was bigger than a normal lynx but nowhere near the size of Battle Cat.

Yeah, using the nonarticulated Cringer body would be much more feasible

I remember it was stated that he will include his grappling hook gun and a Watchmen base. Stolen/leaked early samples/rejects from China usually don't include their accessories

I wish they had spent less money on packaging, and either put more into the figures or had them cost less.
But it looks pretty awesome - I'm leaning towards picking these guys up now, against my wallet's better judgement.

I think the same exact thing everytime it takes me 20 minutes and a empty trash bag to open a new Mattel product, then I look at the figures and am like "Oh I wish he had rocker ankles, or looked like the proto or his weapon instead of huge pacakging" But thats the new trend selling packaging not products......

I hate to be THAT guy...but I'm going to be THAT GUY for a second:
It's just too damned expensive, that figure. Looks GREAT but $25? Nearly $35 once SnH is added in. It's just far too much.
JLU is done and, really, so am I as far as toys are concerned. The cost is just getting more and more ridiculous.

I bit the bullet and bought him anyway, but I have very mixed feelings. I see he's sold out now. Maybe then didn't make very many? But I really don't believe Mattel and all their garbage anyway - we've seen "sold out" stuff show up again many times.

But it looks pretty awesome - I'm leaning towards picking these guys up now, against my wallet's better judgement. The packaging costs on all these figures are really very miniscule. Pennies. They can afford to make it elaborate because it makes the figure seem of higher value. It has very little effect on the final price of the figure.
