Well, not quite what I was expecting. I enjoyed the episode, but . . . not exactly an area of the mythos I'm particularly interested in. With the exception of Kevin Smith's run on GA, I've never collected any of the comics and I'm not particularly interested in the Arrow family. The fact Ollie's a flaming liberal doesn't help, either. So while I have a passing interest in Red Arrow, I have next to no interest in Speedy aka Arsenal. So the A plot was mediocre to me. I did enjoy the character development of the other members, however. I just REALLY want to see what's going on with Aqualad, Artemis, etc. Kind of a weak return. I give it a B-.

Personally I loved what happened to Capt. Cold. Gee, couldn't happen to a nicer guy. CCC.

Well, that episode answered the question of whether or not Earth-16 ever had a Jason Todd...

True, but I don't really care about that particular character, either. He didn't become interesting until he died.

My take... Okay, so now we're going to have both Roys, and one is going to be Red Arrow and one is going to be Arsenal? That won't get confusing at all. I mean, yeah, they had to deal with the aftermath, but I didn't see it going in that direction.
Why was there a statue of Ted Kord in the Team's headquarters? He was very clearly not a teen, and he wasn't around to "mentor" Jaime, per the conversation that Jaime had with Bart. Seemed like a really contrived way to mention that Jaime wasn't the first Blue Beetle.
The reference to Jason Todd was nice, if unnecessary. And are we heading down the road of a Conner and Wendy romance?

wow. I guess I'm in the minority. I loved the episode. And I am absolutely ecstatic about the whole Arsenal/Red Arrow/Green Arrow dynamic. The fact that Arsenal is a bit "darker" and accepting gifts from Luthor is going to make this a very interesting triangle to watch.
I can't wait to see the fallout of Sportsmaster v Black Manta and what Cheshire will do when she discovers that Artemis isn't dead at all. Things are going to get worse before they get better that is for sure!

I'm with the "weak return" group. I was hoping for more after a long break.

Now THAT was an episode!
I can't think of any drawbacks. The show just keeps adding layers.
Darkest gets an A.
Now, if they'd just keep off their butts and do a Season 3.

I'm with you, Shell. Great episode all around. Funny, I predicted back before we knew who fell, who the traitor was, etc. that we'd see Artemis taking on the mantle of the Tigress, and even though the circumstances were different, she certainly proved me right.
I wonder if it's going to come back to bite Artemis that she was the one who pulled the trigger and not Kaldur. And is there any doubt that the "partner" is Darkseid at this point?
My only questions that remain are:
When will Mal Duncan become Herald/Vox? When does Garth return, this time as Tempest? Where the hell have Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, John Stewart, Hawkgirl, and Martian Manhunter been? Are we ever going to revisit this?

The group of "missing" leaguers is on Daxam awaiting trial for whatever it is they did during their "missing 16 hours" from at the end of Season 1. Some of the promo footage shows that we should be getting back to them real soon.

He's shown up in a lot of footage, has the same voice as the partner, and the "backstory" for Jaime's scarab is that Ted made it and was killed for it, which unless they do change it, is completely wrong.
