I mean... if you're talking about the Garden Gnome Variety, then I believe the country of origin for the little suckers would be Germany, that is, rather than Norway. And if you're talking about where the actual Gnomes originally came from, then it's Switzerland; through the works of Swiss Author Paracelsus. Unless of course, you have some magical census data that shows how Gnomes are a majority in Norway. You know... as opposed to their own country of origin. But Tex, old buddy, old chum... trust me when I say this... Gnomes are a minority... even in World of Warcraft!!!

Splitting hairs but Paracelsus was German-Swiss.
I think this thread went way off topic but interesting factoids. Had no idea he came up with the term gnome.
I'm certainly guilty of buying a figure from China but I still find the situation quite funny. Doesn't matter to me where people are getting the figures just interesting to see how people's minds change depending on the status of the line.

And just to play Gnomes advocate, I havent seen this brought up: Those that feel the JLU from these Chinese sellers are "stolen" (Pfffft HAHAHAha) is it just the "new" ones or do you feel this way about or is ALL the JLU they sell? They sell lots of figures that havent been produced for yrs,are those "stolen" too? Discuss!
