Why? That pack's gonna be sitting there for days, if not weeks.

So...
Monday. It's coming.
...and staying.

Be ready.
...all month.

Still, I'll be there at 12 sharp. I've been waiting for this figure (not so much the pack itself due to the repeats) for a long time. Guy is a top 10 pick for me.

I kind of think it will be sitting there even when the Toyman pack is on sale in December

That would be great. That way I could save on the shipping. But Matty and his shipping cronies don't work that way. I'm sure they'll yank it before Blue Beetle is on sale the next month.

I love Guy but this 3-pack is the biggest slap in the face and kick in the nuts I've felt from the JLU line yet. Only thing worse would be if I bought those 6-pack figures off of Ebay, or the deepest cut of them all, Volcana.

I agree with you on the fact that this pack with one new figure for $40 after tax & shipping is absolutely ridiculous. Mattel is really ****** the collectors on this one. But......

I have to stand up for them on your second statement .mattel doesn't control the aftermarket prices of these figures. It is their fault that they didn't ship them out properly, ( STAS Aquaman also ) But the market drives these figures up. If 20 people bid up Volcana over $150 like the last auction that ended. That's not exactly mattels doing. Gorilla Grodd & Blackhawk I remember seeing sitting on the retail shelves. But I've seen them bid up $20 to $35. Those are pretty common & in the price range of some of the 6 pack figures. Tell you the truth, I really don't think Volcana is actually as rare as we think. I've watched tons of them sell on ebay. She just wasn't distributed well. I seriously wish mattel would give us a number of how many actually made it to retail

Have any of the final JLU packs overlapped with the newest release? I want to say that they haven't. And as much as I would like to think that the packs are selling well enough to sell out, I doubt that each one is selling that well. I am sure that Matty is holding back stock above and beyond what would be necessary for quality control issues for buyers.

I really, really, really wish that we were given a 'pile of loot' option with these.

No none of them have. The closest one was the Vandal Savage/Future Superman pack. It lasted over 3 weeks, but " sold out " right before this one went on sale.

The Mongul pack & the Future league pack both sold out about a week after they were on sale. I would think that those actually sold out. They were new & fresh, & everyone was excited to be getting the " unreleased " packs. The excitement blinded us from the $40 price tag. Now that the excitement has worn off a bit, I don't think everyone is as willing to pay that much, especially for a pack with one new figure. I expect this one to last awhile & then for mattel to pull it before the Blue beetle pack goes on sale. Be sure to be on the lookout at your local discount stores for the Vandal, Guy Gardner & Blue Beetle packs sometime next year.

I sure hope so. Money was a little tight, so I figured I'd just wait until next pay period. Especially since this is the least appealing JLU three-pack and is unlikely to sell out soon.

Yeah, I agree with you there. As for the discount stores, I only wish I had a Mattel outlet near me.

Hey guys, just a heads up.

The JLU pack is now listed as Almost Gone.

So those of you waiting might want to pull the trigger.

I'll admit to being surprised, considering this was probably the weakest offering. I guess a lot more people like Guy.

I have no idea why, though. He's such an obnoxious character. :|
