Oliver Queen hasn't even graced our TV screens yet and he's already building up quite the rogues gallery in his first season. Already confirmed for the show are DC villains Deathstroke and China White, but this weekend it was confirmed by ksitetv.com that Deadshot will be coming to the all new CW TV show. No word on who will be playing the character, but he is set to appear in the show's third episode appropriately titled 'Lone Gunman.'
GreenArrowTV caught up with star Stephen Amell and asked him how things are going to go down between Oliver Queen and Floyd Lawton: "Unfavorably, for Deadshot, I would suspect. I can tell you that they are going to be after some of the same people. Oliver does have a code. Obviously, it doesn’t include ‘no killing,’ as we’ve established so far, but there is a code. I don’t think Deadshot has it. I don’t think he respects his methods, which puts him in Oliver’s sights."
From Greg Berlanti (Green Lantern), Marc Guggenheim (Green Lantern), Andrew Kreisberg (Warehouse 13, Fringe) and David Nutter (Smallville, Supernatural, Game of Thrones), the hard-hitting action series reinvents the DC hero. After being marooned for five years on a remote island, billionaire Oliver Queen returns home with a mysterious agenda and very lethal new set of skills that he uses in a war on crime. The series premieres Wednesday, October 10th at 8 PMET/PT
The series stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, Colin Donnell as Tommy, Katie Cassidy as Laurel Lance, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Willa Holland as Thea Queen, with Susanna Thompson as Moira Queen and Paul Blackthorne as Detective Quentin Lance.
Yesterday, we reported to you that Deadshot is set to appear in The CW's upcoming DC show Arrow. The character will appear in the third episode titled "Lone Gunman" and now we've got word (via TV Guide) that Michael Rowe (Not Dirty Jobs' Mike Rowe) will be playing the character.
When talking to Green Arrow TV about the character, producer Marc Guggenheim took the time to let the fans know he is in good hands.
"In the same way that the pilot is a more grounded and realistic take on the material, our Deadshot is a more grounded and realistic take on the character than the fully costumed and masked super-villain that you see in the comics. You’ll definitely see the red eye piece, which is the most distinctive, iconic feature of that character, and I will say that with no slam to Smallville intended, it’s a much more faithful version of Deadshot than the Deadshot that was in Smallville."
Arrow premieres Wednesday, October 10th at 8 PM ET/PT.
With China White, Deathstroke and Deadshot already confirmed for the new CW show Arrow, it looks like Oliver Queen will have his hands full, maybe to the point that he needs help? We've gotten word from Kabookit that Emily Bett Rickards has been cast in the show as Felicity Smoak. That name might not mean anything to some of you, but keen observers will realize that this is the stepmother of one half of the hero Firestorm, Ronald Raymond. The part is described as a recurring role so maybe we will get to see Ronnie sometime in the show; however, that would go against earlier claims by the show's staff and cast that "no one in Arrow has super powers."

YVRShoots has some set pics from the upcoming CW series Arrow which you can see here. They said the crew was filming a sequence at CBC Vancouver late on Friday night that involved the Emerald Archer jumping through a window into a room where gun fire had recently erupted. Actor Michael Rowe, who was recently cast as Deadshot in the series, tweeted that he was on the set leading us to believe that a confrontation between the assassin and Green Arrow was being shot.

The series set to premiere on The CW in October, EW has learned that Arrow has made plans to add another popular DC Comics character to its cast, at least temporarily. Actress Jessica De Gouw will play The Huntress in a multi-episode arc.
Dating all the way back to Sensation Comics #68 in 1947, The Huntress has been reinvented quite a few times over the years. The magazine says that this take will be the Helena Bertinelli version of the character (who debuted in 1989) and that the casting occurred with the following official character description:
"Helena is a potential love interest for Oliver Queen; a fellow vigilante, set on destroying her father’s organized crime empire. But Helena’s blind pursuit of revenge will put her on a collision course with the Arrow"
An alternate version of the character was the focus of the short-lived live-action television series "Birds of Prey," which ran on the WB in 2002. Ashley Scott played the Helena Wayne version of The Huntress, the Earth-Two daughter of Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle.
De Gouw joins Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, Colin Donnell as Tommy, Katie Cassidy as Laurel Lance, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Willa Holland as Thea Queen, with Susanna Thompson as Moira Queen and Paul Blackthorne as Detective Quentin Lance.

The premiere for Arrow is just a month away and in case you can't wait for the show, the CW is rolling out some videos featuring the show's actors allowing you to get to know their characters. First we have Katie Cassidy, who is playing Dinah 'Laurel' Lance in the show, whose character becomes the infamous partner of the Green Arrow, Black Canary.
Arrow also stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, Colin Donnell as Tommy, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Willa Holland as Thea Queen, with Susanna Thompson as Moira Queen and Paul Blackthorne as Detective Quentin Lance.
Willa Holland portrays Thea Queen, Oliver's sister, in the upcoming CW show Arrow. The character is an all new creation on the part of the writers, but she does boast a nickname that should be very familiar to Green Arrow fans. Check out this interview with her in which she talks about her character's place in the show and what the future holds for her.

Right off the bat, DEATHSTROKE!!! Hope it turns into something real and not just an Easter egg. And, wow, Ollie kills when he has to. Has he done this before? Any Ollie experts in the house? I know things went dark during the Long Bow Hunter days, but did they get that dark? What other cameos were there? I recognize Merlyn, but that's about it. Who's the chick with the white hair in next weeks episode?
Nice work with the Parkour. Hope to see more of that in the future.

Iron Man, Iron Man, does whatever an iron can! Steams a shirt any size, puts a crease in your thighs, look out! Here comes the Iron Man!
I don't know much about the character in comics either. But I really enjoyed the show. There was another easter egg in that his sister's nickname is Speedy.

All the DC fans on this board and nobody's talking about this show?
I'm really enjoying it. It's a lot darker than Smallville and (so far) the action scenes are pretty darn good. The recent episode with Deadshot was much more true to the character than the Smallville episode.

I keep forgettting that it's on... Don't have a set routine for it, yet, like I did with Smallville... Need to play catch-up with the CW site and YouTube tonight...
