I never got into the JSA so I can't relate. But I am a fan of Roy Thomas.

The head is from DC Direct JSA (Ross) Superman with a little work to make it stand properly while keeping the articulation. It was a really easy work, but I loved the result.

I've been picking up some cheap figures as of late and I'm going to be venturing a little more into the custom world, but one thing I haven't done is play around with sculpting and putty.

I appreciate the Silver Age but I also like a lot of modern stuff. The Kree/ Skrull War in Avengers Secret Wars Perter and MJ being married! Frank Miller Daredevil The Infinity Gauntlet (the first and only time!) The 1970s Marvel Thanos arc in various Marvel Comics Captain Mar-Vell (1970s) Crisis on Infinite Earths Your definition of Modern and mine are very, very different, -- if it was occuring before (or during the same time as the original SW trilogy- it is no longer considered modern.. "if it's silver age, it's crap"-- Heres my adage of course.... And I was going to poke fun and throw in some So I married an Axe Murderer "if it's not scottish, it's crap"-- but then that may think people may think I like Grant Morrison - who in my opinon may be the worst thing to ever happen to comics- (even Rob Leifeld)-

I'm not a huge Grant Morrison fan either.

Okay... why? He's not the Second Coming or anything but I'm just curious how his era differs from others.
