That was probably the most brutal episode of TV I've ever watched. Talk about a gut punch (or was that a gut slice? ). Wow. Just wow. This season is shaping up to be the best one yet. Miles above where we were in Season Two. Sadly, we're already halfway through this Fall's episodes! I seriously don't see how they'll top this in the mid-season finale.

That was rough, but boy they did it well. We've wanted Laurie dead since last season, but I can't believe they took T-Dog out too. He was finally starting to come into his own. But Laurie's death was brutal. We kept expecting her to turn with Maggie's hands inside her. Ugh. And Rick's reaction was just fantastic. Beautifully done by Andrew Lincoln. Heartwrenching.

All I have to say is that biatch had it coming... I never liked them... even more so on television than in the comic.

I loved how he went out too... his faith is amazing in the end! If I were in the same place, I can only wish I could be that brave, that was well written.

Yeah, his death was the bigger bummer, but her death was tougher to watch.

I enjoyed her death... although she got off easy on television then she did in the comics... although the kid surviving was cool.

I was actually happy about her death, I've hated her in the series, everything she did was moronic.
He I was upset about just because he never really had any true character. I mean 3 seasons and we know nothing about him. I wanted to care but with nothing to him I couldn't. I honestly feel like Amy in season 1 had more character than him.
That is something that bugs me about the show.

Yeah, that bugs me too. There are some characters we just don't know enough about, even after three seasons. Hopefully they'll fix that.

OK, I haven't seen this season yet(I'm still trying to muster up starting season 2 on Netflix), but I've read some of the stuff that has happened on a couple of boards. So here's my question, did the baby live or did both it and Laurie die. Glad to hear that T-Dog was getting better as a character. I wasn't much of a fan of him in season 1

Baby is alive and well for now. Maggie did an emergency c-section, and Carl shot Laurie before she could turn. And T-Dog was JUST starting to become a good character. Lots of unrecognized potential there sadly. And Don, you REALLY should get caught up. It's a very good show. Last season really dragged in parts. This season has been pretty much a non-stop roller coaster.
