Regardless of your political affiliation, don't forget to vote. It's important.
I'm on my way after work today. Couldn't squeeze it in this morning.

Nope. Voted early last weekend. Couldn't agree more though. No matter who you vote for, do it. Whether you think it will matter or not. Because if you don't, you have no room to gripe over the next four years. Sit there and be quiet.

Not looking good for my side. At least we kept the House. I can live with gridlock. I won't be happy with it, but I can live with it. Sigh.

Well, that was fun. Turns out voters actually DISLIKE campaigns based on lies, racism, and hate. Who knew?
Met someone I lost touch with at the polls yesterday. We were both giddy that we were both voting for Obama. Oftentimes when you lose touch with someone their politics and yours completely flip around but I'm glad that in this case it didn't. Voting is fun.
Oh, and I want to give a shout-out to Nate Silver who, depending on Florida, predicted every state correctly. I'm listening to him instead of CNN from now on.

The best thing about yesterday is that we have laws that say you can only serve two terms.

You mean fair and balanced "Independents" such as yourself? What are you talking about? Both Bernie Sanders and Angus King WON their Senate seats! Quote: At least we kept the House. I can live with gridlock. I won't be happy with it, but I can live with it.
Sigh.
Frankly, I'd like to see Congress get off it's butt and pass a jobs bill. I'm sure the president would LOVE to actually sign one. j1h15233 wrote: The best thing about yesterday is that we have laws that say you can only serve two terms.
Good thing too because if there weren't Obama would easily win a third. This is great news for John McCain!

I firmly believe it is our party's (anothers for not repubs/democrats) to give us people worth voting for. This year, sadly, that wasn't available. So I don't blame some people for not voting.

The republicans put up their worst candidate in decades. If they get someone with a decent pulse and don't wait till the last minute to campaign, last night is completely different. I just hate that there wasn't one person worth voting for. That's what is sad for America. No matter if you are a Romney or Obama supporter, they both blow.
