What would you guys consider the "best" figure for any one character? This rationale drives my collection so I'd love to hear what you guys think. I've got a list to get us started (since they're missing from my collection :wink:

), but please talk about any others that you want to share.

Darth Vader

Optimus Prime

Spiderman

Thor

Captain America

The Hulk

Superman (this might get decided for us once Play Arts does their version)

Optimus Prime

Masterpiece Prime from several years ago, without a doubt. Some diehard Trans fans insist on the Japanese version with all the extra metal, but I think my Hasbro one looks awesome. I don't think they'll ever top it, unless they duplicate it with a trailer.

Spiderman

The gigantic Toybiz version with the articulated finger joints. The most articulated Spider-man figure ever made, and the only one that can flip the rest of your toys the bird. :lol:

Thor

Captain America

The Hulk

I really like the Toybiz Marvel Legends Face Off version that came with the Leader. The sculpt and face are just perfect (could use an ab joint, though).

Superman (this might get decided for us once Play Arts does their version)

Oh God Shellhead and I like the same Hulk figure... that Hulk figure is my number one Hulk figure! almost like he jumped of Sal's art page.

I looked it up. He'd look great among my crazy crossover display. I orignally was thinking of getting the Hot Toys one so it could terrorize my larger Play Arts figures, but this is a much cheaper option.

Also to contribute! I don't know if any of you are Sonic fans, but if the Jazwares figures made you want to vomit I recommend checking out the Nendoroid Sonic. It's a cool mix of the modern design with the pudgy, big-headed classic look. He also comes with an absurd amount of extra faces, hands, power ups, etc. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10169845
