Don't know if anyone here gets the Lego Club magazine (my son loves them), but in the newest issue there is a Monster Fighter comic that ends the story and sets up the next phase which is: Galaxy Defenders. It seems the Moonstones accidentally summoned Alien Insect Warriors to invade earth. I hope the new theme doesn't out right replace the classic Monster Fighters, but I don't see any mention of new sets coming post Haunted House.

Maybe they will sub in some of the old Universal Alien Monsters in this line- or maybe some other odd stuff- like a THEM Ant, a Gort or that Alien with the Oversized brain (and not the mars attacks ones)

The pics in the comic (not actual product, but a cartoon strip) shows Dragonfly looking alien people and some Insecticon styled ships.
I would LOVE if they were getting some of the vintage SciFi aliens into the line, but I kinda doubt it.
And ... I would much rather this was a refitting of the Alien Attack line rather than the Monster Fighter line.

I've learned a long time ago not to get too attached to any Lego theme (unless it's Star Wars ). Very few themes get an encore, even if they sell well. I still miss Atlantis.

Anyone still need the Ghost Train -- 58.00 plus shipping (there is a square of the image missing on the front of the box)

Quote: I still miss Atlantis. Me too shell head!! I got several of the smaller sets from that series. I loved the 90s Aquanauts sets as well. The new monster fighters (well from last year) are awesome, Recently I got the zombie chauffer and the ghost polybagged sets
