I'm guessing the 'tan' is suppose to mimic the shade of the brim of the hat as well as the darkness the character always has around his features.

At first glance I thought he was a custom figure.

His head looks like it shrunk during production! That sucks.

Thanks for the pics Van. Can't say I'm not a little disappointed if this is what we're getting. Honestly Matty, how many times are you going to overuse that buck? So basically the only thing new on him is the head? On a more positive note, where do you get your stands Van? Those aren't Matty one's right?

I agree, I thought that was a custom for a second because it's awful. His head looks terrible and the forced shadow on his face looks terrible, too. The blues look terrible. The matching of the suit to the pants looks terrible. The collar looks terrible. Consider me unhappy that I have to pay for this knock-off-looking figure. Not sure yet what I'll do about this...This really is a new low for standards. I don't think he looks anything like the proto.

Man, the pictures of the stolen ones on eBay from China didn't look that dark! Weird!

So Phantom Stranger has a spray tan? He's not foreboding, he just looks like John Boehner. Glad I didn't subscribe.
