Target has reset the toy department for the holidays. The Imaginext area is larger than before. Hopefully this will bring in the new Aquaman cases.

Mine local Targets haven't done the resets yet. They are still working on the Seasonal aisles to be able to do anything else.
Usually Target has some holiday redeco exclusives as well. Looking forward to seeing what those offer this year.

I picked up a kids DC Superfriends book entitled "Green Lantern vs. the Meteor Monster!" for my 2 year old soon to be 3 this week. He's adding a lot to his DC Imaginext collection for his birthday. The characters in the book appear to be modeled after the DC Imaginext toys. There's an Imaginext DC toy ad on the last page. Anyway, there are more of these books that I found at randomhouse.com/kids and amazon. There's one called Bizarro Day coming out in January, although I seriously doubt that's any indication they'll be releasing a Bizarro any time soon. There's a John Stewart lantern in some of the older books but the newer ones appear to be more in line with the toys currently out and have Hal Jordan. Anyway, I think they are great for matching up with the toys.

I found 10 Batman with Scuba gear figures on the shelf at my local TRU. 10! Not one single Aquaman though.

I am not overly familiar with the ImagiNext line, but I'd like to get an Aquaman. Trouble is, I'm not sure what to look for.
Is he in one of those larger boxes that rest on a shelf? Or is he in one of those smaller peg hanger containers?

Aquaman comes in a smaller peg package. Usually around $6.99. He also comes with a metallic looking shark.

After falling victim to the ever wonderful economy and having my job eliminated, I picked up seasonal work at TRU and Target just to get some much needed income into our home (what little it provides ). But since working there I can say that at TRU we have actually gotten in quite a few of the Batman with Sub, Batman with Rover, Cyborg with ATV and Aquaman with Robot Shark. What surprises me is that I have yet to see a Commissioner Gordon with Police car and Batman with new Batwing hit our shelves, although I had gotten those from the UK earlier. The cases have been quite random, but I have noticed less of the older figures in the pack outs. I have also seen an increase in the number of Killer Crocs hitting our shelves too so hopefully for those of you looking for him that those will be hitting your respective stores soon.

At Target I got Aguaman and Batman with sub, still looking for Cyborg
FYI, at my local Aldi, they had the new batman tumbler AND the batcave repaint (like Green Lanturn's) for 19.99 each. that's 8 bucks cheaper than anywhere. I picked the tumbler up, not 100% sold on getting the "cave".

I guess Catwoman will no longer be so lonely!
Only a matter of time until Batgirl and Supergirl, I bet.

Sweet. Order placed. I was going to customize a Wonder Woman from a Catwoman, but I'm glad I waited. And Harley is a bonus.
