Fan Favorite Character Coming to The Walking Deadby SuperHeroHypeNovember 20, 2012 Fans of The Walking Dead comic book series will be happy to hear this. One of the characters absent from the first two seasons is making his TV debut soon. TVLine has learned that actor Chad Coleman will be joining the cast of The Walking Dead as Tyreese. Coleman is known for his role as Dennis "Cutty" Wise on The Wire and providing the voice for 'Coach' in Left4Dead 2. In the comics, Tyreese is a very prominent character with the survivors, joining them after Atlanta and staying with them throughout their tenure in the prison. Tyreese is an Ex-NFL star that specializes in blunt weapons against the undead, carrying his trusty hammer everywhere he went. Based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics, The Walking Dead stars Andrew Lincoln, Laurie Holden, Steven Yeun, Norman Reedus, Chandler Riggs, Lauren Cohan, Scott Wilson, Melissa McBride, David Morrissey and Danai Gurira.

Bout. Freaking. Time. Although I feel sorry for Oscar now, since they killed T-Dog to make room for him.

That's good news! Too bad we've only got 2 episodes left this year.

Yeah, but maybe he shows up just in time to save Maggie and Glenn from the Governor...

This past episode was hard to watch. Between Glenn's beating and Maggie's violation, I almost had to take a break from viewing. I really hope both of them make it out alive. And man, is Glenn a bad @$$ or what?

Yes, Glenn is the new badass. That was AWESOME.
But yes, this episode was very hard to watch. Ouch.
Can't wait for next week's midseason finale.

Whoever created the concept for a "mid-season" finale needs to be shot.
I hate having to wait until Feb for the rest of this storyline. Breaking Bad used to be all in one shot, and now it got broken up as well.
I hope HBO and Shotime don't start doing this crap.
Ah well, Game of Thrones should tide me over.

No don't shoot them. That's quick and painless. Their death should be MUCH worse. Ants & honey or peeled & fried. Something slow.
And you're lucky - I don't watch many shows so when this one goes on hiatus, I don't have a replacement. Ugh. At least we get to see Tyrese FINALLY.

I was afraid the Governor was going to do to Glenn what he did to Rick in the comics

He asked Maggie if he needed to bring Glenn's hand in there to convince her. If you blink you miss it, but I caught it and started laughing.

Ah ok, I did hear that.
I just started reading the comics recently, was it the Governor that cut off Rick's hand?
