I gotta believe that Lex Luthor is on the way. Seriously, that's just too easy for F-P to pass up. The figure wouldn't even require new tooling, they could do a jumpsuit and/or business suit version, and then throw in pretty much any one of the various robot suits in purple and green. Done.

I agree - really need a Luthor.

Does anyone have any updated pictures with all the newer figures (Cyborg, Aquaman, Gordon etc.).

I would love to see a Luthor as well. To Bryan's point, I've been tinkering with some customs and was able to make up a Lex using some old figures from various lines (and whatever paints I had lying around)

Take a look...not a stellar paint job, but my 3-year old is none the wiser...

That Luthor is perfect. Both in the purple collar suit and the armor. If Imaginext puts anything even close to that I'll be a very happy camper.

And I gotta suspect that Imaginext will brand heavily to tie into Man of Steel next year.

They did a big GL push during that movie year, and rebranded everything at TRU into a Gotham City line to match this year's Bat finale. If they don't tie into Man of Steel with a new playset, figures, and other redecos I'll be very surprised.

This guy - from the Imaginext Dino rider line - just shouts to be made into a Lex Luthor with Power Suit...though it uses the basic body, that they seem to be moving away from recently with the new sculpts for Aquaman, Cyborg, etc.

My Wonder Woman and Harley arrived today. Yay for Fisher-Price. Some observations: Both Harley and WW have unique leg, torso, and (obviously) head sculpts. Harley has her little Peter Pan booties, and WW has stripes embossed into her boots. WW is an a kind of New 52 version of her costume. She also doesn't stand up straight -- her legs don't quite pull back far enough. Superman has a unique torso sculpt for his New 52 costume. Now the weird part: He's got a goatee. Or soul patch. Some sort of thing painted on his chin. He's like the evil Superman from the Mirror, Mirror universe. Pictures (fuzzy in the case of Supes):

Is it a goatee or soul patch or just a really poor attempt at a dimple in his chin???? Now after seeing those pics I can't wait for mine to show up. Looks like the Joker has a unique sculpt as well, not sure I am sold on the smirk on his face I think I would have preferred the full toothy grin. Can it be that FP could be moving away from the generic body sculpt?

I wondered about the Joker, but I'm at work and can't compare this one to my other versions. I thought about the chin dimple, but if that's the case, it's REALLY poorly executed. And with the grim look on Supes' face, it really makes him look evil. I'll probably scrape it off mine at some point.

But I have to say, I'm really surprised by the amount of new sculpting on these figures. I figured the female figures would get the least attention and be mostly paint on a generic body. But so far, there hasn't really been a generic body for any of them. Now if they'd just recast that Green Lantern jet in clear plastic, I'd be EXTREMELY happy.

Well, he is supposed to be an "angry god" in the upcoming movie.

Would be better if you got a mister freeze jet and took off the stickers... right now that's about as close as you'll get to WW's jet...

I can't wait to add these to my son's collection.
I need to pick up the Commisioner Gordon with police car, that Gotham Police van with Bane and a cop, the Gotham Jail set, Aquaman, the new Superman/Wonder Woman and Harley/Joker sets.

I finally found a Cyborg with ATV for my son it was on the top shelf all the way in the back at one of my local TRU's. Only time I've found one. I picked him up the Joker Funhouse on Clearance at Target a few months back for under 10.00 and I picked up the Adam West looking Batmobile with the light on Clearance at Walmart too.

He loves this line. He wants me to get him the two Toy Story space ships with Rex and Woody and the Star Command set and Pizza Planet. (Toy Story is his original love)

Thanks for the group shot Great_Krypton!

Do you think they will re-do all the figures with the newer rounder heads?

Also the Roman figure makes a great Maxie Zeus!

BEST.. POST.. EVER..

I would have never believed looking at Imaginext 4 years ago that we would get the JLA. Very happy with the new additions. I finally found Aquaman in SLC. Now I hope that WW and Harley will start heading into stores soon. :)

Wow, do we really only need an MM to finalize a JLU?

Of course there will always be others like GA, Black Canary, Zatanna, Elongated Man, and on and on and on to round things out, and that group pic is very much a representation of the current DCnU JL but still .... Wow!

Even though I now have all those figures (Wonder Woman and Harley are en route and should be in my hnads tomorrow), that is still an impressive pic!
