I just got a Mole Man off of Ebay, hasn't arrived yet, so I will see because it is my first from this series. Still want Beast and maybe Doc Ock. Now I am not a big FF fan but I don't expect Hasbro to do Mole Man, but I would like to do a Toad, another I don't expect they will do, and the body type is about the same, plus it was a good price. Yes, he is the bringer of all good news for comic and comic related movies. And I thank him for it, because my kids think I'm cooler than I really am. I've been taking credit at home for his posts for years. And 2800 for me as of today. Wow.

I'm catching up to Tex there! Maybe I can move out of the 30's spot and into the 20s?

OH! I'm at 28, I'm happy I'm in the 20's even if it is the later end of the 20s...

At the rate you're going, you'll be in the top 20 before too long. I doubt I'm gonna ever get higher than 9th.

Spammer. Kidding aside, it's funny how the top 100 members have over 90% of the posts.

Sadly, the site's really contracted the past year or so. I guess the bulk of the site really was the JLU fanatics. How much more will it contract once that final 3-pack hits in a few weeks? Of course, the action figure industry as a whole has also shrunk dramatically in the past couple years.

Action figures seem to come and go like the tides. We will probably now see a dry spell during which we can try to track down what we missed in the glut.

That always happens. It's like fads.

A 10+ year toy line is hardly a fad Van Statten. Overall the toy industry is contracting. Shorter product life cycles, smaller windows of interest, and less margin for error. So there's less time for a fan base to really build. Heck, it took 3 years or so for JLU to really get going. But once it got going, there was a large hard core devoted fan base. That has slowly trickled down to just a few as the line comes to a close. I plan on sticking around, but I can tell you now I won't be as active. I'll still be doing customs, but it just won't be the same.

Oh the moment they became Target exclusives it was a fad. Let's not have this argument again. I'm going to bet the core fanbase was not a big as you'd like to believe. It's okay... fanboys are gonna think big.
