Eh... I'm always yelling at people they just ignore me... like adults should when another adult acts like an ass.

Aw, man! I missed the aisle debate! However you want to define it, the action figures have been getting smaller and smaller shelf space.

But my point is, our selections get smaller and smaller but the size remains relatively the same with more choices of figures, like those knock off Elite Commandos.

Target has a full aisle on both sides of action figures in my area. Same here, Target has a better selection but honestly, don't stock all that well. Here's Walmart:

None of mine in the area have the Mega Blocks in the same aisle like that. It looks like a mirror but where Mega Blocks are there is Nerf.

The sad part is, they went from almost an entire aisle of action figures to 10 feet of action figures, they've cut tons of figures, there is nowhere near the number of figures in a Walmart that there used to be. I can go down the street and K-Mart has more figures by far (they still have a full aisle, both sides), Target has 2 full aisles of action figures, Toys R Us has at least 4-5 full aisles of action figures.
It's just sad, especially realizing that Walmart killed most of the toy retailers.

I'm amazed Toywiz is even able to stay in business. That owner has the HIGHEST prices for action figures around that I have seen.
Regarding shrinking toy isles. Yeah it sucks but that is just the way it is. Kids aren't into action figures as much as they used to be so it makes sense to cut back on them.

1-2 years ago my two inner-city Walmarts were a place to get anything, but always a month or two after the rest of the country. Now it's about 10 feet of action figures, and mostly just movie license stuff laying around for months. So depressing. Target seems to be the only place for Marvel Universe for me. I bet there's piles of Professor X's out there in the suburban Walmarts but I'm not driving all over the place anymore.

Well they aren't at mine, although I hope that will change in the after Christmas restock.

billydj wrote: Unless the price has changed since you posted that link, that price is actually not that bad. Especially for Toywiz, who is notoriously wretched with their outrageously inflated prices. MU figs are $9.99 (unless there's a sale) everywhere around here. So $12.99 isn't that bad. I'm still not paying that though.

I keep waiting for the 3.75 inch figure to break the $10 barrier at retail. I fear it's gonna happen next year.

CCC. That's the problem, around here, there was no after-Christmas restock. Most stores didn't look at their toy aisles again until April or May.

Well I'm betting it is all in the store back rooms waiting for the Christmas madhouse to clean out the pegs so they don't have to put any of it on clearance.
