I'm not even a MOTU subscriber and I got his message:
Dear Club Eternia® Subscriber, We wanted to let you know we've just heard our shipment of Procrustus™ figures has been delayed. We'll receive him in waves and will ship out subscription orders as supplies are received. If you have multiple subscriptions that are combined, your orders will be held until Procrustus™ arrives. We're hopeful the delay won't be too long, but plan on an approximate 1 to 3 week delay just to be safe. Although he's not a subscription item, we also wanted you to know that Granamyr™ is delayed as well. If you order him during our regular sale on Monday, December 17th at MattyCollector.com, any additional products you order at the same time will be held until Granamyr™ arrives. Please order Granamyr separately if you don't want your order held. We appreciate your patience and thank you for being a MattyCollector.com customer. I got that email also. Not really a big deal to me, but I'm sure many, many collectors will use this as a reason to get their pitchforks and torches ready... Again.

Not really a surprise considering the entire port of LA/LGB was shut down for over a week due to a strike.

Back when the news of the Port of LA strike hit, I was convinced that within minutes Scott would send out an official email announcing the delay of December sale items. The funny thing is that Mosquitor does not seem to be affected by this. I wonder if Mattel got Mosquitor in early? The funny thing is that this delay makes it two years in a row for December subscribers. Last year, Demo Man got delayed into mid January. Sadly, any good will that Matty earned by announcing that 2012 Subscribers would get a free figure to apologize for Frosta has been wiped out because of the delay. Not only do subscribers have to wait for Procrustus, but now they have to wait for their free apology figure from Mattel as well!

Well, that pretty much determines that I won't be buying Procrustus. I was only going to get him if I could combine shipping with Mosquitor. Not interest in the Dragon.

As long as you are willing to wait, you can still get combined shipping with Mosquitor. Of course, that is the true crux of the matter....the waiting....

I dont have a problem with the waiting--
I do have a problem with them charging my card when they know its not going to ship out to me until 3-4 weeks from now..

Apparently not all of the Procrustuses got delayed. My sub has shipped and already passed through Sparks.

I'm not sure I believe Digitial River can handle an order where one item is ready and the other is delayed. They'd probably charge me full shipping on each item!

People are just waiting for a reason to get riled up. I've got way too much real sh*+ going on in my life, to allow any of this stuff to even be on my radar.
