I believe Mattel has said that the wave discussed above is the last planned wave for now.
So, not dead, but essentially dead.

You're welcome, Quinn. Good to see you again.
If only I could find this last wave...

I found the full wave at TRU a couple of days ago. They were $9.49 each, but TRU was running a buy-one, get-one-half-off sale, so they came to about $7 and change apiece.
Batman, GL and Atom are just repaints, right? The only new figures are Larfleeze and hang glider Plas, if I recall.

I had to hit three or four K-marts to assemble the whole wave. With the scarcity of K-marts after their last round of store closings, that can be pretty tough. I haven't seen them at TRU yet, though we've got multiple reports. Atom and Plas seem to be less available than the others, which is unfortunate. Plas is a really nice figure, with some articulation -- his head is ball-jointed and his arms swivel.

Atom is not a repaint-- it is an all new figure- (trust me for once im not happy about it not just being a repaint- since this means I still need the original as well )-- hes actually a little smaller than the normal figure size and has a different sculpt than the original release. (or at least thats the way it looks from comparisons I tried to make to online photos.)

(or at least thats the way it looks from comparisons I tried to make to online photos.) It's true, the Atom is not a repaint. He is definitely smaller than the original release that I have and his hands and arms are different. The new ones are shaped to help grab on to the Plas hang glider. The Batman is not a repaint either since his hands are formed to hold onto the cannon that he comes with. So the only re-release is the Green Lantern figure since the only thing new is the construct that he comes with. This wave has definitely been more difficult to locate since the only place I have seen them at is Kmart in my area. The TRU I work at has not had any Action League except for the 5 figure exclusive set.

Check your Wal-Marts. That's where I picked up the Bronze Tiger/Arkillo/Deadman/Zoom wave a few weeks back and I just picked up the Larfleeze/Atom/GL Contruct/Hydrobat Sled wave there on clearance for $4.88 each. I am a very happy camper.

LOL.......it took me forever to find two Red Tornado(s) cheap enough for my son's collection and then one for customizing. Scarlett Scarab's paint job was a lot harded than I thought it was going to be !! I have finished two more DC figures but I dont have any finisher spray left........ Thanks JuliusMarx for the comment !!! Davis
