Well, there you go, 6-inch figures have hit the $20 mark!
Wow, so they're redoing the toys and canceling the 3D versions of Episode 2 and 3. There's a lot happening!
I see what they're doing here. The 6-inch figures are for the Nerd Dad. But I'm kinda nervous about the 3 3/4 figures and the part about all new versions of iconic characters. I don't want to start all over with my collection! Noooo!
I guess they're banking that nerd dad has the $19.99 and I don't doubt that a lot do. There's a lot of Star Wars fans out there in the world. I suppose they're planning on all these guys that bought Marvel Legends and that will spill over, plus it's Star Wars.
Sigh, I already miss the Vintage Collection. I can't buy new versions of iconic characters. I actually WANT the "15th Cantina Alien"!
The Luke does look great though. I will get a Han and Fett but that's probably it. But I suppose that's what Hasbro is banking on. People like me picking up a couple figures. But I'm not starting all over with my Star Wars collection or getting into another line 1.) because distribution has been PAIN and 2.) I don't have the money for any more "completing".

Reading between the lines, it looks like 3.75 is going to regress into 5 POA just like the IM3 figures did. Like I mentioned in Uncle's thread, I will be picking and choosing. Fett and a Stormtrooper for sure. Beyond that?

Impressive.
Interesting first assortment too with X-Wing Luke, R2, Darth Maul, and a Sandtrooper. First thing Star Wars collectible-related to excite me since Hot Toys Luke.

Im done with it before it even starts--
My only definites would be Fett, Greedo, Zuckuss.
Maybes on Maul, Troopers (mostly just Biker Scout and Snowtrooper) and Padme, but since I assume this will all be main characters I can skip the majority of this line without even thinking........

I will be getting some of them, of course. Not to mention 2 Boba Fetts, one to my Star Wars collection and one to make my custom Peacemaker from Magog's Justice Batallion: http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Justice_Batallion

That's about as obscure as you can get. Didn't that guy die after one panel?

Dream come true. Can't wait. Getting everything (from original trilogy, so no Maul) I have none of the 3 3/4" figures. Oh I had a ton of them when I was 9, but that's not the stuff I like now. I am dedicated to the 6-inch scale now and the Luke they showed in that article? That's what I like. I want a ton of these if that Luke is any indication of quality. This is the news I've been wanting to hear for 10 years.

This will definitely be a "wait and see" line for me, but I'm already leaning towards "buy".
I won't be a completist (I can easily do without a Darth Maul) but I can already think of a nice handful of characters that I would want to make a display with (I'd love to do Luke, Ben, Han, and Chewie around the cantina table with a dead Greedo at their feet ...)
