Yeah, the only retail place that I know of that sells the old batcave is Kohl's. I went in there a few months ago and saw tons of them in stacks and now I see its on their website. For the longest time it was gone from every store I went to. Guessing it might be an un-official Kohl's exclusive now or maybe they had tons of them sitting in a warehouse somewhere?!

I have also seen them dip pretty low on ebay from time to time. I've picked up quite a few 'gently used' Imaginext items for the 3 year old on ebay and always have good luck with them. I've also picked up some used figures cheaply for some customs that I'm working on.

For you customizers, What the best way that you open up the figures? What do you do to close them? Thanks in advance.

Jeff......I have a really hard time with Imaginext figures !! I asked Joker about how he did his and this is what he said

I usually use a small thin blade and work along the shoulder and under the arms to slowly work the torso loose. The key is to work slowly and try to move along the entire torso to separate it. If I am just doing a head swap for Imaginext I just use the whole head piece, but in this case I just crazy glued the head to the torso so unfortunately the head does not turn.

I have not tried this yet but will soon.....I've been working on Playskool Adv figures lately (no need to open them up yet)

I have really been looking at the Secret Agents playset but just can't pull the trigger on it because of the price. I think it would make a great addition for a villain hideout.

I also like some of the police vehicles and playsets as well, but again price point has me at a distance on these sets.

Exactly! I recently discovered this and have been scouring the net and the local stores to see what I missed and what could be used. But wow, are they expensive.

Ws on the look out for some of the new Ooze turtles and came across a new yellow raptor that they tried really hard to make look like the Jurassic Park Dilophosaurus.

Will put up some pictures later wasn't in the system yet, of course they put out the new stuff after Christmas wonderful strategy there.

Cold always be a Medieval Green Latern custom.

Updated with images very nice looking and much better than the atv I think.

The guy has a ton of detail gloves and all kinds of carbon fiber looking details.

The button makes the 2 arms go forward smaller versions of the Stegosaurus weapons hard to press without holding the seat though, hard to balance but the pack stays on great.

Just compared him to the old raptor, though it was a re-use of most of the mold, but it's not the new one has textured skin, different tale, body, head, it's odd but fantastic.

Love the dinos! Ever since the Jurassic Park Jr. sets that predated the SHS, I've been collecting the dinos and the Imaginext ones are perfect. A nice combination of cartoon and function.

Edit: here's a link to some pics of the Jurassic Park Jr. Series. The vehicles that came with the dinos were really good especially the big truck. http://du5tin.proboards.com/index.cgi?b ... thread=747

Dude! These are cool. I like how you've used the heads and accessories from that horrible Young Justice line. I had a chance to pick these 3 3/4" guys on clearance and passed but now I suddenly want enough parts to at least make Kid Flash, Aqualad, and Nightwing. Although all of your customs look good and would look good hanging out in my Batcave those are my favorite. I have one or two more Batmen and Spidermen than I really need --since I get a Spidey with each Playskool villain-- and have been wanting to try customizing them. This is giving me ideas.

Thanks for sharing.

I have ALWAYS wondering if the YJ or JLU lines would work with my/our collection size.....SHS & AL figures. I'm glad that you liked them !!! I also liked how Kid Flash & Aqualad came out ......thought about RE-DOING Nightwing but I have other projects in front of him. I have a few other figures that I would like to add to the YJ or Teen Titans teams, just need some time.

Thanks AGAIN for the comment

It's nice to get some new news and get back to talking about the toy line!

It blows my mind how no one really covers the Imaginext line at these shows.

The new Batcave looks cool, the Fortress is OK. I do like the Zod figure. Did you notice the Monsters Inc figure behind the Batcave? In the back right corner.

I don't think my son would want any, but I still would like to see them.
