Not sure if anyone else has noticed this but I found the beginnings of these at both TRU and Target last night.
So far, there is only a "Zip Line" Batman out. He is packaged with a kid sized grapple gun that shoots a suction dart line for batman to attach to and slide along. For the most part, the figure is simply a shrunk down Batman from the bigger "evergreen" line.
Back of the package lists 4 or 5 other Batman figures with some sort of vehicle or play accessory.
If these start to come out as single packed figures, and they include characters other than repaints of Batman I will probably buy in. If this is the format that this line is relegated to, I will gladly stay out.

I've seen a couple of small vehicles at Meijer's but nothing out-in-force yet. Have a feeling there will be a ton of this stuff when the stores finally get the boys' aisles reset.

Man, Mattel really loves the phrase "All-Stars."
Can they really not come up with anything better than something that makes me want to sing "Take Me Out To The Ballgame"?

Just got back from Target and found that very box set on the shelf for $26.99
That means individual figures should retail in the $5.99-$6.99 range on a blister card.
Once we get a peek at the rumored DCU 3 3/4" line that will accompany this I'll have to decide where my buy in begins ...

saw the 3 3/4" batcycle instock at my local Target. IMHO, the picture of the Batcycle at the back of the Zipline set looks better the real thing.

Saw the lowest-end figures at Kroger a few hours ago. No accessories and the cards are pretty much the same size as the low-end TDKR figures. There was at least one standard blue/gray Batman but the others were the odd colors/armors that we've all gotten sick of... Jeff Cope wrote: Say wha?
What rumored DCU line? This is the first I've heard... Rumor is that this year is Batman and movie Superman in 3 3/4" and next year will be the Justice League in the Power Attack-style.

Jim_Abell wrote: So, are these replacing the 5 1/2" line completely?... Mattel only had two 2-Packs of 5 1/2 figures fro TDKR and they were both Batman and Bane in different repaints. Mattel did full 5 1/2 sets of figures for the other two films, so maybe 5 1/2 is dead after all.

Glad to see Riddler in this line, but disappointed Superman was not scaled down into this line. And I see no reason why the big name heroes could not be done in this line.
