I wish there were pics of the Beware of the Batman Anarky and Bats. The prototypes probably weren't ready yet. I guess I'll have to wait for SDCC.

Oh wow, you're right. That Wonder Woman looked perfect, now her face looks a little weird. I was looking forward to that figure. I'll probably still get it, although the DCC version is getting re-released with a Katana. I might get that instead. I'll wait and see how it goes.
On the flipside, the Darkseid looks like it improved a little!

So, we're getting at least two new figures from the Batman line with Damien and Anarky (who I really, really hope is in his original design with the false head).

I don't mind the Batman variants in Batman Unlimited, in fact I'm looking forward very much to DKR Batman and Planet X Batman. I also think the Vampire Batman and new Batman Beyond both look great too. Damian Robin is a nice surprise too.
All that said, I wish the video game and animated figures were in a seperate line. They put Damian Robin in BU, but then snuck in two Beware the Batman animated figures. Add in the Injustice figures in DC Unlimited and there are just that many less slots for DCUC figures at retail.
I know there are people who are looking forward to the video game figures and animated figures, and that's great. But pushing them into a line that is supposed to compliment both our already existing collections and the sub offerings is kind of disappointing. Hopefully the animated figures will fit in OK.

Oooookaaaaaaaay... missed the part where Beware the Batman characters were going to be part of the line... Like zoom said, I hope they fit in style-wise with the other figures the Horsemen have done even if the outfits are from the animation... Still want a teenage-size Lonnie with the false head...
EDIT: Dadgum it... Just read the press release over at Matty... "in animated style"... hopefully it's as "animated" or less than the 6" YJs...

I don't know why they don't fold the Beware the Batman figures into the Power Attacks/Evergreen line. Makes more sense IMO.

That was one of my first thoughts as well, I swear Mattel wants the Batman Unlimited line to fail. I mean I love that Damian Wayne but is he going to make it to us? I mean since DCUC proper has gone away I understand the waves less ? I mean is wave 2 just Planet x and DKR Bats ? Whats wave 3 Vampire Bats and Damian Wayne ? Where does Batman Beyond fit in ? Whats wave 2 of the new DC line ?

And don't forget the price point for the Beware the Batman figures if they're going to be in Batman Unlimited. For a kids' cartoon, that's an awful lot for the "mom & kid" demographic.
I would really hope they are making the figures in the Power Attacks line as well, to go along with these two figures in Batman Unlimited.

Saw Penguin for the first time at Target yesterday, along with Batman and Batgirl. They were mixed in with the DC unlimited figures.

I picked up Planet-X Batman and Dark Knight Returns Batman at my LCS this week.
I really like the PX Batman; he and Batmite look so malevolent and crazy. But I was hoping DKR Batman would be thicker. Does anyone know if Mattel reused parts for this figure?
