I've been having this weird bug/issue lately. Some text/words on screens on my laptop seem...distorted. It looks as if the words are lenticular. It's only some words, never the entire sentence. If I roll the cursor over them, they sometimes fix themselves. Other times, I have to highlight them for it to fix. It happens here on AFi, Yahoo, and elsewhere. It's mildly annoying, but I am worried that it could be a symptom of some greater issue or problem.

Any idea? Thanks!

If you are on Windows, there's an option called "ClearType" that you can try switching on/off.

Go to Control Panel >> Display >> ClearType.

See if it helps.
