So sad to think that we'll not be getting any new JLU figure ever...

Is it true that Mattel's version of the Wally West Flash has different sized legs?

Yeah so far it seems one leg is just hair longer than the other. On another forum we assume this will hold true for the actual release as advance figures have never varied much when finally released. But the variation so miniscule I didn't even notice till it was pointed out.

That man is crazy... I've bought official releases of just about every early release I have ever bought for one reason or another. In most cases the early release is better than the final release as far as paint applications and proper joints and tightness. I can't think of one occasion where the early release varied from the official release?

He won't answer my questions anymore because I ask the hard questions that the magic 8 ball can't handle for him. They are giving away a "designer-signed figure" right now but didn't say what figure or even what line, so I asked. Still no answer.

I can understand though... he may not be permitted to say anything which is something that could be true. He's more like a monkey while Mattel grinds the organ. But the reply about early releases being different is really weak. That may be Mattel though and not so much Scott.

Plus, due to the nature of the subscription service, all he has to do is ignore the problem and it will go away. 'Cause technically speaking, you already bought the figure (warts and all.) So all he has to do is keep a low profile. You know... while we learn to live with the problem. BTW, thanks for the confirmation.

I have no knowledge of weather or not Wally has been corrected, but I can state that as a reviewer of these figures for another website, I used to get early samples from Mattel all the time, and they would sometimes differ from the final figures. I'm talking early packaged samples. My Killer moth has no airbrushing, whereas my wave 6 Haekman has all the airbrush shading the 2-up had, and the production versions did not have this. These are just 2 examples. He is correct, it DOES happen from time to time. Hopefully Wally got fixed. I will say this : I've seen early loose samples from China many times, and I will conur; quality is usually top notch on them.
