I wanted to start a new post for Funko POP!, blind boxes, and other random vinyl figures. I found a few posts, but most of them were very specific or scattered all over the boards. I know vinyl figures and blind boxes span a large range. A lot of them are very artsy. But I am hoping we can get this post started and expand if we need to. I wanted a place were we could discuss, update, and share collections. I fell in love with the Funko POP! series and have been collecting my favorites for a while now. I am a huge fan of the blind box items, not only do you get the thrill of the hunt, but the surprise of the find as well. A lot of people dislike the blind boxes due to the chance for doubles. But with a community like this and a nice trade section, we could really help each other out. To get the info rolling, I want to give updates for the following announced Funko POP! items: DC wave 3: Darkseid, Superboy, & Harley Quinn (no pics or release date as of yet) Dallas Comic Con Exclusive: Reverse Flash (link below) http://www.toyark.com/news/dc-toy-news- ... gure-7455/

My wife and I keep trying to resist these Pop Vinyls... And by "resist" I mean we keep buying them! I've been getting the DC Comics ones. So far she has only been getting the holiday ones... but she's eyeing the Gremlins ones... and others.
Funko actually invited us to come up any tour their facility. I think we may have to take them up on that offer.
I really want the Reverse Flash! grrrr.

Dan you REALLY should. That's an opportunity I wouldn't pass up. These things are addicting. My friend bought all the KISS ones and most of the Muppets ones. I've gotten the Walking Dead ones and a Captain America for my daughter and Iron Man for my son. There's just something cool about them.

So far I have only been buying the DC characters...specifially the Batman characters. I would love to buy the Marvel or the Star Wars, but I am not much of a fan for the bobble head style. The DC figures have a plug that takes away the bobble head motion. I did purchase the Disney Mad Hatter to use with my Batman villains. My oldest son has a few of the Halo figures and my youngest son has the Plants vs Zombies figures. My wife has bought a few Disney characters and the Hello Kitty. With the Funko Cupcake Keepsakes & the Hello Kitty Mystery minis...she will be purchasing a few more.
These things really are addictive. I have been fighting back on purchasing the Incredible figures & the Adventure Time figures.

I've been trying to resist these as well, but they finally got me with Captain Jack Sparrow, and I know I'll be picking up He-Man and Skeletor as well.

I read this on the main page and thought this was just awesome! Read to the bottom of the article, they have a lot of very popular licenses they can utilize with this line. DC Superheroes, Scooby-Doo, Looney Tunes, and tons more. http://www.actionfigureinsider.com/main ... y-penguins

My DC Little-Mates arrived today. I am not sure if anyone else has seen these but they are cute 2"-3" figures of DC characters.

I must have missed that! If I would have known, I would have waitied and ordered the entire line. Maybe I can just wait until they finally release them in the states and pick them up at a store.
I did finally find the new Funko DC Domo minis. I only want a few figures from this line, so i only bought 2 blind boxes. I was able to pull the Riddler and Two-Face! Now if I can pull a decent Batman, I would be finished with the ones I want from this line.

From the front page http://www.actionfigureinsider.com/main ... n-march-24How can they produce these unlicensed and not get sued-- I just dont understand the "artistic" license that some people think they can get away with-- especially since Muppets are owned by disney (and they have their huge vinylmation market)

I wonder the same thing every time I see a shirt on those 24hr t-shirt websites. I am also amazed that Disney has not shut this down. On the other hand, I first thought that the figures looked great with Wave 1. But the Wave 2 pics are not as impressive. Plus at $40 a piece for a blind box or $600 for full 18pc set, Disney would not get a lot of money as I don't see these selling very well.

Just got the all black Batman from the Funko DC Domo Mystery Minis! I am finished with that line and ready to move to the next. I was hoping to start on the Disney Mystery Minis, but they seem to have been delayed.
Anyone else get some good pulls lately? Any good finds or deals out there that have been spotted?
I did see that Hot Topic is having a BOGO 50% off on collectibles. The store near me didn't have any Funko POP! figures I was looking for.
If there is anything anyone is looking for, just let me know and I will try to keep an eye out for it.
