6.95 per pack seems like a fairly reasonable price to me....

$6.95 is regular retail, or even below retail at most places.

I've been picking up the Playskool 2 packs of figures for $5 at Wal-Mart recently. Heck, if Playskool had the figrue variety that ImagiNext has I'd still be picking up Marvel people, but sadly, I have all of the characters they've produced pitting my Avengers against Bat and Spider villains. The last ImagiNext I bought were on the TRU sale BO1/2O. Also, I just picked up the Batcave for $27 at K-Mart so the sticker shock of 14 for something that would fit in my hand was a bit momentary. 'Spose I'm just being cheap.

Just went to check the Fisher-Price website and there is nothing listed for Imaginext Superfriends etc... I wonder if they are updating their selections? I hope so. Webslinger "Just trying to rebuild my collection that was stolen"

I recently picked up a nifty little accessory for my Imaginext toys. This Bat signal is 10 bucks on Amazon and works really well. It is bright enough to actually shine the signal on the wall. I took a couple of pics w/ it on and off, as well as w/ my flash off to show the brightness. For those interested, you can find it here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0762445262/ref=oh_details_o03_s03_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1It comes w/ a little booklet of Batman character bios and batteries included. Really worth the 10 bucks. Now I have to order another one for my little one! -Rick

I didn't know Walmart carried them! Was it located in the toy aisles?

You can get it at Barnes & Noble as well. Its usually on those spinner racks near the register that have the mini voodoo kits, sumo bowling, and desktop rock garden top chotskis.

It was in a little cardboard display with several other similar type sets that just sort of moved all over the book aisles. Not sure if the thing is still there but last time I noticed it it had another set with a Batmobile and a little book on the history of the Batmobile.

I've got one of the Batsignals as well. I picked mine up at Boos-a-Million.

Ok.. here's my Lex Luthor. He was made w/ a "Neil the Spaceman" body, neck armor from the figure that rides on the large T-Rex toy, and the head is from some random bad guy that I have. I was really pleased w/ the metallic green paint used on the headpiece and the metallic purple. I used a darker flat green for the 'body suit'. More to come really soon! PS... Davis, your package should be going out on Monday!! --Rick

Good looking Lex Luthor. He is a character that Imaginext needs to bring out to square off against Superman now that Superman seems to have an upcoming playset and a Zod. While I'm waiting on the Superman sets to hit the area, I did spot a new to me Joker vehicle. It is a silly hauler in the Joker purple. What is he supposed to haul? http://2.bp.blogspot.com/--nTSdZ0BlLI/U ... hoto+3.JPGThe space vehicle dump truck looks cooler. I do wonder if the other side of Two Faces motorcycle is a different color. Does anyone know? This TRU exclusive is not high on my list of needs, but it could be cool to have a two tone bike for Two Face. http://gofigureactionfigures.com/media/ ... hauler.jpgMy Joker has a much cooler looking Toy Story dump truck for all of his criminal capers because I couldn't find a Dark Knight ready Imaginext School Bus set.

Big IV wrote: Good looking Lex Luthor. Thanks Big IV!! Yes, they do need to make a Lex already! They definitely have enough parts already to build him without any retooling. As to those Joker sets...they've been around for quite some time but I've never bought them. Just thought they were ridiculous. I'm usually a 'completist' when collecting, but there are a few Imaginext pieces I choose to skip. On another note... here's my next custom. Now that we have a Wonder Woman, she just HAS to have a villain to fight. So, I present: ARES: GOD OF WAR This was a quickie I just did over the last few hours. Not much to him really, but he turned out decent. Hope you all enjoy!! Next few figs I'm working on: Nightwing, 60's style Brainiac, and a few others.... --Rick
