Finally got my set and I must say they are perfect. From the "hexless" arms and legs, great new head sculpts, great paint jobs to the cloth they use for the capes. This is the animated line I have been waiting for. Looking forward to getting my Lex Luthor and I hope they do a second series (Come on Shazam, Catwoman and Nightwing).

Quote: I REALLY want that Shazam. Me, too. I'd like to think we've got a pretty good shot at it. Shazam has a pretty high recognition factor among kids. Anecdote: My daughter used to call him "Mr. Nice Guy" when she was younger, because of the JLU promo that had the phrase "No more Mr. Nice Guy" in the fight between him and Superman. She had names for almost all the big seven: Won Woman, Marsh Man, Super (he didn't get a Man, and I don't know why), Flash Man, Wing Woman (which was hard to distinguish from Won Woman), and Geen Latern. Batman, however, was always Batman. Because you don't mess around with Batman.

OK so if they want to do a new multi pack the new Justice league of America comic is a good start. Green Arrow with a modified head and 52 paint job Steve Trevor The flight suit Batman that came with the vs alien set with the Bruce Wayne head. Manhunter standard buck new head. Catwoman, Star girl, and Katana, all would be the Wonder woman buck new head and chest. Baz GL, Atom with a new paint job. Hawkman, battle saw Batman new head and wings. Vibe - BATTLE READY BATMAN with new head.

Received my Lex today from eBay. I would have preferred to wait, but I got concerned when local Targets began restocking with no Lex in sight. With Mattel and Target's dismal history on action figure distribution, I decided that I'd better initiate my "JLU Rules" regarding acquisitions and got one online.
I like the figure. I find it interesting that the handle on his rocket launcher is a "hex pole" designed to fit the old B:BATB figures. I actually looked the figure over looking for a hex hole before I realized it was just a holdover and didn't actually plug into the figure.

Just found 4 Luthors at my target tonight. I'm typically the last to get em, so they're hitting abound!

Quote: I hate to say this but I just picked up 3 more Luthors. Don't be concerned on my account. I'm okay with paying extra to ensure I get a figure. Often (like now) I find it in the stores later. Sometimes, I end up with figures nobody else has because I pulled the trigger instead of waiting. That's what I mean by "JLU Rules." I have a complete JLU collection, because if a figure didn't show up within two weeks of its first reported sighting, I bought one online. Yes, I paid $15 for my Volcana, but I didn't pay $90 for my Volcana, and lots of people never even found one. In my book, that all balances out. That said, I hope I do find Lex. I want to do a JLU head swap.

Finally got my Lex Luthor, and I love this guy, I will be crushed if the line is just a one off. I do this each time but hey its fun. Series two who would they use? We need five. Aquaman carded is natural Robin or Nightwing would be a fit. (Bat family and all) Shazam Green Arrow since he's on tv And finally we need a villain, it would have to be Joker with a new head.

PBateman, thanks, but I'll only do the custom if I find Lex at the stores. I do appreciate the offer, though.

Isn't the New52 Joker a bit grotesque for this kiddie line?
