Catalog photo of the Home Ick set! ...and Draculaura's Die-ner... ...which apparently has an exclusive version with Operetta included as well... The same German retailer has listings now for Spectra's partyroom (which is apparently an MP3 player dock) and Cleo's Oasis but no photos yet.

The German site has more new photos, no dolls this time... Abbey's Shower (though the styling looks far more Lagoona than Abbey) Spectra's Bedroom ...speechless at to how they managed to get approval for a toy bed for a teenaged girl that has chains all over it... And someone on Tumblr or Flikr (I found the pic second-hand so I'm not sure where it really came from) got one of the Ghoul's Night Out dolls and the scrapbook included this pic... Supposedly "Catty Noir" who will be arriving later this year...

New Dead Tired photos showed up yesterday, I believe... (not sure where the photos were originally found -- I am loving Robecca's iCoffin dock) ...really expected the outfits to match the next book cover art, surprised they didn't do that... ...and the retailer has changed the description to "Lagoona" now.

I wonder how much of all this stuff is just repurposed or redecoed My Scene accessories (as there are a lot of similarities..

Things like Dead Tired Lagoona's mug might be but so much of the stuff is completely monster themed (usually very specific to the character) that I'm not really sure how they could...

New pics have shown up over the last few days... What are being called "I <3 Shoes" Cleo and Draculaura (probably TRU exclusives)... (the rumors had them coming with 7 or 9 extra pairs of shoes so these are a "disappointment" by comparison) A photo from TRU Canada's website. Very cool that she comes with Nightmare (even if unarticulated) but hopefully a bit cheaper this side of the border... ...and a boxed image of Cleo's Desert Frights Oasis...

The removed Al Snow from the shelves because he had a mannaquein head- because it was mysoginystic and "approved" of violence toward women-- so Barbie decides to go with a headless doll-- how much flack are they going to get for this one.

I think it was almost a month after the other reveals that we got to see Scarah and HooDude last year. stewbacca wrote: The removed Al Snow from the shelves because he had a mannaquein head- because it was mysoginystic and "approved" of violence toward women-- so Barbie decides to go with a headless doll-- how much flack are they going to get for this one. Yeah, I have to wonder about that as well. Even the Headless Horseman figure from Sleepy Hollow caught a lot of flack for including a woman's severed head. I'll be grabbing this one as fast as I can because I can see it getting pulled very quickly.

I have a theory on the SDCC Monster High item: It's going to be a cross-over item to kick-off a new line. I found this thread over at MonsterHighDolls.com. In a nutshell, last week the MH Facebook page had a story about Cupid transferring out of Monster High and it led to a link to her radio show at Mattel's site. I could never get the show to play so I don't know exactly what was said but apparently it had something to do with her getting a new assignment from Olympus. The show linked to three websites - http://www.royalorrebel.com/, http://www.rewritedestiny.com/, and http://www.villageofbookend.com/ which don't have a lot of clues yet but the artwork certainly looks like MH webisode backgrounds. The music looped on the pages is titled Ever After High which is a trademark that Mattel has applied for. Guessing this is going to be a line about a school for storybook/fairytale characters and I'm thinking that they'll reveal the SDCC exclusive when they officially announce the product line and that the exclusive will be something that crosses the two. End crazy theory, what do you guys think? Otherwise, what do you think of Ever After High?... What sort of characters would you like to see out of that?... Me?... I'm hoping for the daughter of Maid Marian and Robin Hood...

Okay, the SDCC doll has been revealed... sort of... http://news.mattycollector.com/blog/201 ... /#creatureNo photos yet (supposed to be shown on the 15th), just an outline showing that it's the spider girl that was part of the voting two years ago. So much for my crazy theory...

A quick update with photos of Catty Noir, boxed Bloodgood and Nightmare and Spectra's party room. (disappointed that they didn't create a new body for Bloodgood instead of relying on the CAM method of attaching the head...) Sometime tomorrow we'll finally get to see the SDCC doll...

Just a quick note: If anyone still needs the CAM torso pack Mattel Shop has them back in-stock ($7.99, limit 2 per order).

I think it's kinda cool that Mattel is continuing with the cosplay theme for its SDCC Monster High exclusives.
