PRICE CHECK ON AISLE C7.

Family Dollar still has plenty of Batman movie figures, for $5. Just out of curiosity, I checked Kohls, and they had the same Batman movie and Man of Steel movie figures for $7.99. Their stock looked like crap, nothing organized or in just one place. I also stopped at Alco. Their Batman movie figures are marked down to $3.99, so I finally got the wimpy Bane.

So, those four Matty Collector Exclusive figures (Dying Flash, Dying Supergirl, Monitor, Psyhco Pirate) are just all over ebay right now.

Anyone know what's up with that? So what, Mattel found a buyer for all these and unloaded them? I get overstock for returns, but if they kept them on MattyCollector, I would have added one on while purchasing some DCIE figure or whatever. But where are they coming from now? can I presume people are finding them at discount stores and reselling them?

I've been checking my Tuesday Mornings, but no luck. Are they showing up at certain stores? I kinda want these, I just don't want them that bad to be driving all over the place or spending a lot.

They were at Tuesday Mornings for $1.99 each. So I bet alot of people scooped them up and put them on eBay.

Anyone who says that the DC Universe Infinite Heroes line was a failure should just look at the whole collection. This line succeeded far better than any DC 3.75"-4" line that followed it.

Come on Mattel, bring back a 3.75"-4" line for the collectors.

I agree with you, Joe, I loved this line.

I have almost everything from the line - I still need to get Superman Prime and the gold Captain Atom which I never saw in stores.

I also don't have Ravager/Dr. Light/Heatwave/Trickster - I looked and looked but they never appeared, and now their prices are crazy high. How much did you pay to get them, Joe? I just don't think I can bring myself to pay the prices for those 4.

The only ones that gave me problems were Superman Prime, Gordon in S.W.A.T. uniform, and the Joker in black suit.
I had to buy those on eBay.

The other figures I found at retail without much problems.

I still need Dr. Light. I got Ravager from someone here. Gold Captain Atom was at Marshalls for about $3.

Awesome set-up, joeace. I need to get my collection displayed like that. It looks like you're just missing Starro and the Starro set figures.

I check Tuesday Morning regularly, I would be really disappointed if I missed these figures. I have Monitor but I don't have the others. I saw Swat Gordon once. I never saw black suit joker and...heck, a lot of figures I never saw at retail or I only saw once.

In completists terms, there's still some figures I don't have. I still need....
Black suit Superman Prime
Black suit Joker
regular Black Lightning
the 2nd Bizarro repaint
That one variant Thanagarian warrior
The first Black Adam figure
dying Flash
dying Supergirl
Best Buy Exclusive Wonder Woman
masked Psycho Pirate
one or two Lexcorp troopers
and now I need the original Wondergirl because I used her for a custom.

I know it's not Swap Meet, but I have an extra Gold Captain Atom.

I actually have 2 Starro sets as I had planned to open 1 of them. One of the sets is sitting on top of the display in the photo but it was not actually in the photo.

I knew you had to have it, it looks like you have every release--Every repaint, every variation--It's pretty cool. I never quite made it there. I'm close though. I'm not giving up.

I don't know about that Penguin there, though. I've tried to make that work myself, he just doesn't quite fit with the rest of them. The scale is perfect, it's just those hands.

My main wants are still Trickster and Heatwave-- Im just not willing to drop 85.00 each on them when they pop up.

I think that was my idea and the sad thing is I still haven't picked one up.

Here is a question for discussion. The current lines of 3.75 inch figures for Batman and Superman could rate their own threads, but they are made by Mattel and fit in with the DCIH figures. Do we want to continue to discuss them here as an extension of DCIH?

I kind of see them as their own thing. But I do have them mixed into my DCIH groups.
