The Unlimited line around these parts is plagued with the same spotty distribution issues that DCUC was. Coupled with the fact that only Targets in my area are carrying the line. Thes have been more difficult to find than the DCUC line was.

The Unlimited lines are supposed to be using a mix system instead of waves which means that a figure could get rotated in-and-out of cases for a while, but I'm not finding any regular reports on what case mixes are being announced/found so it's difficult to say what is going to be one run and what will be around "forever".

entertainmentearth.com has case listings for the waves. a few months ago they did seem to match up on amazon if you added figures to your cart then maxed out the quantity to what they had available when they started popping up as sold by amazon. (for example...23 wonder woman and 46 injustice batman)

entertainmentearth.com lists the following:

This Wave 2 case contains 6 individually packaged figures (subject to change):
1x Superman (New 52
1x Flash (New 52
1x Hawkman (New 52)
1x Wonder Woman (New 52
2x Batman (Injustice: Gods Among Us)

This Wave 3 case contains 6 individually packaged figures (subject to change):
1x Aquaman (New 52)
1x Darkseid (New 52)
2x Superman ( Injustice: Gods Among Us)
1x Joker (Injustice: Gods Among Us)
1x Batman(Injustice: Gods Among Us)

they also list wonder woman as being in stock to purchase alone in september(think it has been listed that way for months)...yet they list wave 3 as coming in august. i don't know if they just get things late or estimate with a larger window. really only use the site to check case counts on stuff. they always seem to be pretty dead on.

I know this is going to come as quite a shock to you all, but it sounds like another Matty line has bit the dust: Batman Unlimited. Kastor's Korner Matty Q+A confirmed Damian Wayne is out of the retail line up and there's several reports on the Fwoosh forums about the line being removed from Target's system as well as Wal Marts removing pegs.

Currently 3 DC Direct Damians on Ebay ranging from $70 - $125...

I have no doubt in my mind that Damien will be slotted into the Sub line, should it get enough buy in to go forward.

Since he was created and introduced pre-Nu52, they have the loophole to include him without and backtracking rhetoric.

I am completely unsurprised that this iteration of the DC lines has failed at retail. The offerings and release schedule to retail has been a complete failure from the get-go. I, personally, went form buying EVERYTHING to only 2 figures under the new branding (Hawkman and Zur-En-Ar Batman. I would've bought a Dark Knight had I seen one on the pegs but I don't care that I missed it).

While, I, as a fan, feel like this line is truly limitless and "only getting started", it is very apparant that Mattel, based on their "research and sales data" truly feel like it has all run its course. They don't know what to do with it anymore, nor do they care to put any effort into finding out.

So long DC, you had a good run. Hopefully your next go round will learn from its mistakes.

While I agree he could show up there, they're currently denying any plans to do so

Where is Damian? That should be in next months Q & A instead of pointless questions usually asked

If you feel like you have better questions than the ones submitted than by all means submit some of your own. I ask for new ones twice a month,

But we've already been told that he is not coming out this year and that they don't know where he'll be slotted next year. So you know... kind of asked and answered.

In my case, I would ask Mattel why they bumped Damian from Wave 3 in favor of "Red Rain Batman". What was the reason behind the drop? That and the question that's on everyone's mind... And that is: Are the reports that both Target and Walmart will stop carrying the Unlimited Lines, true? And if so, are the lines officially over?

All and all, fair questions when you consider the DC Universe All-Star/DCUC Wave 21 mess of last year and how it all ended.
(Nothing personal, just my 2¢.)

If I had to hazard a guess, it's the old "Batman and Superman sell to Mom's and kids" theory. If retail interest is waning, then they'll at least get out the final Bat-variants (Red rain and Beware the Batman) within the final case pack outs.

Hopefully we'll hear something at SDCC...

Also Red Rain Batman looks an awful lot like Nightmare Batman who is appearing in that new "Infinite Crisis" video game...
