Sigh... I want COMIC BOOK VERSIONS and not the video game or movie versions that stunk up the pegs at retail.
When will Mattel learn?

I think it may be 3 waves of 6 figures to equal a total of 18 figures.

You will get some of those, but they'll most likely be New 52 costumes. Which are, technically, the comic versions now.

Lame. Was really hoping for that all encompassing animated line. I guess they'll never learn.

This would be the only thing that could get me back into Mattel again (provided it was sold at retail, of course). I'd be a completist for the line even for stuff that had nothing to do with JLU/The DCAU like Young Justice or Green Lantern: The Animated Series. If they included Beware the Batman figures in it it would probably sell well with kids too. Any mention of a Beware The Batman line?

I'm sorta done caring about DC figures at this scale, but I'll take me a Keaton Batman, yes I will.

We could get actual figures for shows that didn't get a toyline like GLTAS and Legion of Super Heroes. We could lure old-school fans into the line with Super Friends figures actually based on their show designs. I actually think this new Movie Master line is a fantastic idea for fans of the live-action DC stuff. But an animated line based on the same concept would knock my socks off.

The one thing I never understand is why they're not prepared with toylines when a show actually debuts. They work really closely with DC but they always seem caught off guard with show lines. Strike while the iron is hot dummies!
