If they knocked the price back down to 9.99 they could be a statue for all I care.

Target just lowered the Legends price down to 9.99 (and not clearance-- tag price)-- hopefully they will keep it in place for the next wave.

I will pay anything for an original and articulated DC figure. Yes sometimes it is tough on my wallet, but I look at it like this. This is my only hobby. It makes me happy, and you can't put a price on happiness.

Again, look at that "Zipline Batman"

Image

Maybe add an elbow joint (not the double elbow). But I'd be thrilled with this exact articulation.

No reason we can't get a 9.99 DCUC figure.

The head on it looks a lot like one that has been previously used on DCUC

Bunger, I am 1000% in agreement with you.

If I were to see a DCUC style figure at retail at that level of articulation for $9.99, I'd be all over it without hesitation.

That's because that figure came first.

If they knocked the articulation down to the level of dollar store garbage for the sake of saving a buck, I'd be out. I'd rather pay a premium price for a figure that's done right, than save a couple dollars and get something that can't even move.

Chris sculpted that Superboy. It's on his personal website.

I posted this bit over in the thread about the Horsemen's new website... from the SourceHorsemen forums (color highlights are mine)...

Four Horsemen wrote:
Mindless-Focus: We're not short a sculptor. We've had a couple of freelancing scuptors that have been doing work for us here and there for years, and they are both now more integrated into the daily cycle of projects that come through our door. To be truthful, because of those two, our production and efficiency seems to have increased immensely. Please unofficially say hello to the two newest members of the Four Horsemen stable - Bill Mancuso & Djordje Djokovic! :)
...

I knew Djordje Djokovic was helping them some (he did the head for Fisto), but this was the first I'd heard of Bill Mancuso working with them or that either of them had actually joined the staff.

That zipline batman is still one of my favorite 6 inch figures.

I would rather lose only some of the joints on the current DCUC style figures.
If the choice came to going back down to the basic articulation in the DCUC style, I would buy it. It's better than nothing.

I talked with ToyGuru about some of my own personal wants, like classic Trickster and Chronos...he told me the paint apps are just too much for those kinds of characters, like Ragman and Rainbow Raider...but he hasn't given up hope, as he wants to see them made as well.

But I can assume that anyone with complicated costumes are gonna be lower on the list.

Great, now we'll never get that invisible kid variant

Right? What is wrong about that zipline batman above? MAYBE adding one more piece to it, but it doesn't need to be loaded.

Personally, I think the more articulated and complicated the figures become, the more junk they are.
