Anyone know when the SDCC exclusives will go on sale online? I think last year they went on sale 1 week after SDCC on that Monday. Is this how it's going to happen again this year? I want to grab the Shazam and the Superman / Zod set. Thanks for any info any of you might be able to provide!

The early access sale is today and their store is down with a 503 error. Did we break it with too much traffic?

You just have to keep refreshing the page (over and over and over and over and over). 49 minutes later I have three orders placed... I think I prefer the WSOD to this...

Thanks Jim, I did figure that out eventually. I had to search for the sign in page so that I could order the early access items.
Anyway, I am done ordering. 2 Shazams on the way. I figure that 1 can be repainted as Black Adam easy enough.

Outside of the refresh issue, the biggest problem I had was on the last order I was trying to get the Shazam and MOS set and when I finally got the checkout page back it was still one of each but both were priced at $250 each, so I had a cart for $500 with only 2 items in it so that took forever getting that straightened out with all the refresh issues.

That was not fun Initially, most of the items showed up as Sold Out, with a few being in-stock. I kept refreshing anyway (I could not believe that much had sold out already) and eventually I was able to place two separate orders for Webarella and Batusi Batman. It cost me $9.45 extra, but I really needed the Webarella and didn't want to chance missing it to save on shipping. Webarella is now Sold Out.

Was able to get Batusi around noon. Frustrating. But a bit exciting too, in a way. Got my collector juices buzzing.

After much refreshing, got to the end & got an error. Repeated this process. In the midst of a third try I got two e-mails indicating both those previous attempts actually went through, so now I have a duplicate order.
THIS IS A MAJOR REASON WHY YOUR SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE IS FAILING!

Proof that Early Access isn't worth a damn to most subscribers. Either there's nothing else they care to order when the day comes, or they can't get what they want due to a horrible website that can't handle the traffic.
I wanted Shazam and maybe Batusi. I wasn't able to get either. I expect this will repeat on Monday with equal disappointment. Thanks for nothing, Mattel.

My hypothesis is that Batusi is causing the crash. Batman fans are probably one of the biggest collector demos. Plus there were shortages at SDCC, rigth?

She lasted much longer than I expected. I could have gotten my orders together, but could not chance it. $9 and some change was worth peace of mind... although I still don't have a confirmation for Webarella, only the online invoice that I printed out, just in case.

They've fixed the price on the MOS set now. I still don't have my confirmation e-mail about that order so I have to wonder if it will still go through for the $25 or not... All three orders show up in my order history so I'm not quite so worried, but I'll feel a lot better about it once I get my confirmation e-mail and the shipping notices.

The regular sale started more than three hours ago, and everything is still available, except for the Monster High doll, which sold out last week in the early-access sale.
The MOTU Classics figures, Rokkon and Stonedar, seem to be popular. They are marked Almost Gone, and they are selling for about $90 on eBay.
I can understand the Man of Steel Movie Masters set hanging around, because it's priced to high, but I thought the MOTU mini figures would have sold out quickly.
