Jade
Red Lantern Mera
Scarecrow
C&C Mongul II
C&C Killer Croc

Don't include Doomsday 'cause I'm sure he'll show up before this line finally croaks.

Yes, we all have wish lists, but I'm talking glaring omissions here. What are the five missing figures that just make you look at your DCUC collection and go: Man! Soooo close.

1) Mera. Especially with her raised profile the last few years.
2) Aqualad. Every original Teen Titan got a figure (in some form, like Red Arrow for Speedy) except him.
3) Vandal Savage. Pretty significant villain (not to mention one of the oldest) of both the JSA and JL. Fairly easy to do, as well.
4) Indigo-1. Only Spectrum leader we are missing. Add the fact that we got the Atom version and that's just salt in the wound.
5) Batwoman. Pretty high profile Bat family member. Can't help but wonder if her orientation kept her off store shelves. Then again, Nothstar had a figure in the 90's, but the Batverse is much more well known.

I could care less about the rainbow lanterns, IMO it was a better storyline than a toyline, however like you mentioned Indigo 1 is the only Spectrum leader missing. While I the addition would mean nothing it is weird not having her. Also Batwoman is ok, I would prefer the classic version than the new version. The others are cool.

My personal Top Five:
Amazing Man
Maxima
Sonar
Atomic Skull - classic version
Icon + Rocket - 2 pack

EDIT

Sorry guys, 5 just isn't enough...10 would be nice!!!

Super Friends Bizarro
Super Friends Scarecrow
Evil Star
Yuga Khan - Darkseid's father
Super Powers Lex Luthor - this figure was created and show in Toyfare back during the DC Superheroes days, before DC Universe and it was never released...bummer!!!

All ladies for me:

1. Dawnstar
2. Vixen
3. Mera
4. Oracle
5. Phantom Lady (modern)

Just missing the cut:

Steel (Natasha Irons)
Liberty Belle
Cheshire
Roulette
Circe

We NEED (okay, maybe I need) more female figures.

I can do without a bunch of chicks but you bring up some that I love and always forget about. The female I desire most is Maxima (which no one ever seems to list) but there are quite a few on your list that I want - Vixen being the number one choice, Liberty Belle, Steel, Dawnstar, and Mera. All of those are must haves.

I think a year off the sub will be good, I hope enough fan demand can bring it back in 2015 and hopefully Mattel will invest more interest and DC will stay out of it.......sorry but the guys at DC pushing the new 52 have caused major havoc on the mass market for their products.

I know I'm in the minority but I have absolutely no interest in Oracle. I recognize her significance to the DCU, but Barbara Gordon is (and will always be) Batgirl.

I don't get the all the Liberty Belle love, but I was never all that big into the JSA. But I'm on board for Vixen, Dawnstar, and Maxima.

But let's try to stick with the Five motif. Otherwise, we're back to another generic wish list thread.

I thought the idea was of this thread is "what 5 figures were no brainers they left off"...not necessarily "what 5 figures did I want most that weren't made"

I think my 5 hit both of those. Doomsday is obviously out there, Mera is a glaring hole, I thought Liberty Belle was a no brainer for the JSA team with all the Johns influence and Scandal and Ragdoll work towards finishing the secret Six. They finished the stupid Doom Patrol and Metal Men but didn't bother with that one.

I actually tried to do that with my list-- (with a little of column B) but my explanantions/reasoning for the following-- which honestly arent all in my personal top 5
Side note-- (how can a SP Superman be the biggest missing figure-easiest to make yes- but important in the terms of never made-- I dont think so- especially to those of us who could care less about super powers)

Oracle-- Figure this one is self explanatory, I think she falls as the definition of key- plus (now that we got Huntress- last missing main BOP)
Spoiler- (My guilty choice-- but since we already have a batgirl and Robin in this line I went with the first costume-- but she has been a fixture in the Batuniverse for over 15 years now (well more than Batwoman, eventually became Robin and Batgirl, was a visting member of the Teen Titans, had different types of realtionships with Damian, Cassandra, Babs, Tim, Kara)-- I feel she is key-- plus it would pleeple off Didio so everyone should want her...
Wonder Girl (Cassie)- Sidekick to Diana and Donna , Leader of the New Teen Titans, Missing member of the Big 3 (ver. 3)-
Impulse-- THe missing memeber of Generation 3 of the main heroes that formed Yound Justice- had his own comic that "ran" around 100 issues, became a key plot point with events that led to Flashpoint..
Mad Hatter- (I think the Most Noteable Bat Villian remaining) or Trickster or Classic Capt. Boomerang (always need another Flash Rogue)-- I didnt use Killer Croc or Scarecrow-- because although they need upgrades , they have been done)

That was my intention, yes.

Sadly, only about half of the posters are taking it that way.

Sorry I didn't/wouldn't adhere to your thread parameters, Bill. The same reason I didn't, is one of the reasons that the line is now defunct. That reason is, there's no general consensus. I don't think that any of the characters I want are glaring omissions, except for the fact I want them. I'm not naive enough to think that I'm the voice of the people.

Well on the subject of what could've been with DCUC, I for one have nothing to look forward to at toy fair or sdcc next year now that JLU and DCUC are finished. Unless Mattel pull some turn around with DCUC then my collecting days are finished unfortunately.

Here's hoping they at least find a way to put out the sub figures shown.
