DC Total Heroes is Mattel's new 6" line with a more animated look and limited articulation. Do you plan on buying these figures?

Im taking a "wait and see" approach to all the new DC lines at retail.

If I happen to see them on the pegs, and the really tickle my fancy or my son starts asking for them, I'll pick them up. But, if I never see them, or I do see them and I just don't "feel it", they will be easy to pass on.

We'll see.
If I pass by them on the pegs and they look good, then yeah.
From the prototypes we've seen, I may very well pick up Green Lantern and Sinestro.
There's elements to them that I really like.

And then promply bring them to my customizer's table and swap out parts, add articulation and whatever else I need to make them more DCUC-ish, or better.

It depends on how the set pans out. I'm sick of starting collections and them leaving vital characters out. My example of this is Brave bold, the line looked promising then petered out, and then not releasing figures like Shazam and Dr polaris.

I thrice this sentiment!!

No way I'm going give money to their 'new gamble' when they should've used that new budget money to try and re-invigerate DCUC at retail. That, and these just don't interest me.

There's no way in hell I'll be collecting this line. It's not just out of anger that they cancelled DCUC in favor of this. It's the ugly cartoonish style of these figures. They almost look like 6" versions of the Batman: Brave and the Bold figures, or more recently the Target exclusive Justice League line. Cartoonish style isn't always bad (re: JLU), but these just look big and clunky without any appealing artistic style applied to them.

I have not seen anything about them. Maybe just the Batman ones. Then again that is how I started with JLU and look what I ended up with. So I don't know really.

No. I'm freed from Mattel/Matty unless they decide to get some more DCUC product at retail or on Matty.

Not at all. Matty has completely jumped the shark, an animated 6 inch line and 4 inch movie masters line is a joke. I thought this would give me a financial break but instead I am just going to finish collecting the 1984 Super Powers line MOC. I have the entire series loose and all the vehicles, now to collect every MOC or in the box.

There isn't anything about these figures that appeals to me. It's an unfortunately easy pass for me.

I really miss trolling the retail aisles for DC figures.

The first initial offering doesn't do anything for me, but I'll keep an eye out for them. Maybe one of my nephews will be interested, then I'll get it for him/them.

Part of me is thinking I bought those Public Enemies-based figures, why not these? However, I don't really need another 6" Batman or Superman. If they produce never-before-produced characters in this line (which is unlikely), I'd get those. The same way that I've made Silver Banshee work with the other DCUC figures, I'll make a new character from this line work. Generally though, I have zero interest in these.
