To be fair, if Batman were to give money to the poor and say cut the batarang budget or build a 50 story orbiting space station with artifical gravity, then everyone would be rich. :P

Has anyone else taken advantage of the second chance subscription opportunity?

I have.

Been a fan of Masters/POP but not big enough to buy into the line. Once they announced the castle, I was in. Been picking up characters here and there. Re-releases, Big Lots and local conventions help. Decided on sticking close to the vintage line with the occasional should have made figure or two. They sit in wait for Greyskull to arrive and be freed from their blister prisons.

Also helped that Infinite Earths fell through.

Hey now, be accurate.
Aquaman contributed a fair chunk of undersea treasure to the construction of the tower.

No way! Flogg is terrific, so is Blade! Bring on Angella, Mermista, Suarod, Gwildor, Mara, and Ninjor!

I think that is a pretty cool Blade. Quite possibly the only thing I liked about that movie.

Mattel did a awesome job of making people jump to buy a variant they would otherwise have passed on.

Good. I may get one then.

I'm excited about Flogg and Blade looks cool! Really hoping for Rio Blast and Stridor toward the end of next year.

Another DR screwup...

UPDATE: Castle Grayskull Orders
November 21, 2013 at 4:31pm
As you know, our Castle Grayskull orders are starting to ship. However, as we go forward with processing your credit cards, some orders have failed to process for a variety of reasons (insufficient funds, card expired, etc.). We do know some of you may have updated the cards during the course of the year and we sincerely apologize if your update was not carried forward.

You may also receive an automated response stating: “The product is either no longer available or has been cancelled at your request.” Please note that a credit card failure generates this automated response. We are working to update the wording in this response as it is not accurate to the situation. A more accurate message would be:

“Your Castle Grayskull order is cancelled/on hold pending updated payment information. Please contact Customer Service at 1-877-GO-MATTY or MattyCollector.CS@digitalriver.com to update your payment information by December 5, 2013, and reinstate your Castle Grayskull order at the pre-order price. We apologize for the inconvenience.”

We understand customers did not “cancel their order at their request” and we assure you the pre-ordered Castle Grayskull sets are still available and waiting for you. This is a case of an outdated automated response being generated by credit card processing failures. We clearly need to update our automated responses – so sorry for the confusion, He-Fans!

If you received an email like this, please just contact Customer Service by December 5th to update your credit card information. One quick phone call will get your order back on track so you’re sure to receive the Castle Grayskull you’ve waited for so long!

I called 2x last week with updated credit card and shipping info and still got that cancellation notice today. Unbelievable.

I did the same thing a week or so ago. I switched banks when I relocated and I had to change my shipping address anyway. Called them and submitted via e-mail as instructed. At this point, I'm not going out of my way they can keep it.

Scott Neitlich says in a Mattel videothat a cancelled order is still valid, but on hold until the credit card information has been updated. You have until Dec. 5 to fix it.

Though I've had no trouble with my sub (knock on wood) One reason I didn't get the castle is because of the wait between pre-ordering and the orders actually being filled, which led me to be believe something would happen like the posts above. I'm reading similar stories on other forums
