I find that my DCIH/MU figures work just fine with all my old Secret Wars/Super Powers vehicles and playsets. That's a big value for me with 3.75 - 4" figures.
shabbyblue is 100% correct, though, that the figures don't generally scale well. If the figure is SUPPOSED to be bigger, it can work (Darkseid and Kalibak from SP work with my DCIH figs, IMO, but SP Penguin doesn't work with DCIH at ALL.)

The thing about toy vehicles is that they've almost always been underscaled (vintage Snow Speeder being a rare exception) so this Keaton figure may just be perfect for the old Kenner stuff.

Retail looks horrible and the sub looks pretty good so far ! Honestly it was a big shock to me I thought the other way around. I think the new retail team is living in like 96 or something lol

I couldn't be happier about the announcement! I only collect 3.75/4" figures (with some minifigures for good measure) and this is what I've been hoping for all along! As others have said, MU and GI Joe (current) are actually 4in figures. I remember that one of the big gripes about DCIH is that they were too small and didn't 'work' with MU. These should be close to, if not perfectly, scaled. Finally Snake Eyes, Supes, and Spidey can smash heads together...hopefully. My only gripe is the wave 1 assortment. I can only assume that wave 2 will be a MM-esq wave, and IMHO that would have greater appeal to all buyers than a video game assortment. Imagine a mom or dad strolling the aisles with kiddo and finding the Batman they grew up with. That sells. I'm a bit nervous that the niche Origins wave will back up on the pegs and we may never get a good shot at the upcoming MM wave...or worse yet wave 3 (which I'm hoping is comic-inspired). I'm super excited for NYCC now, as I'm anticipating a preview of waves 2 and 3.
With all of that out of the way, I can certainly understand the criticism from 6in collectors. If the 4" line came first, and I clamored for MM Keaton only to see it made in the 6" line, my reaction would be very similar to yours. Seriously, I feel for you guys.

This When I was a kid I had the Galoob ST:TNG figures, but no bridge. I used by Super Powers Hall of Justice (one of my favortie toys!!!)and it worked like dream.

No interest in the Video game figures, but Keaton batman I'm down for...If it was Movie Masters scale Make a Reeves Superman, Carter Wonder Woman, throw in a comic wave and Animated wave and a hunting I will go... batfink wrote: I hope the smaller scale will make vehicles, playsets, and collector cases more likely to be made for this line. But Mattel only makes that for the kid targeted lines like Superfriends and Evergreen and the cheepo movie figures. These are aimed at collectors who don't buy vehicles and playsets... I am totally excited about this line. Just last week I was looking at my DCD 3.75" Injustice figures and thought how cool it would be for a small scale Arkham games lines. I do have the 6" lines, but I like the smaller scales because that means a better chance for vehicles, plus I can put alot more 3"-4" scale figures on my shelves than I can 6"

I believe Mattel said at Comic Con that there'd be more information on the Multiverse line at NYCC. So, we should be hearing something on the line on Friday!

Well Thats depressing-- making it easier and easier to bury this line before it even starts..
And I remember when Bane used to feel like a cool character-- and between the god awful nolan version, and this generic Biker knock off not so much anymore..

That's because Bane is the video game version. You have to tell Mattel that you would rather have the comic book version.
I want to see these figures up close at NYCC.
