I was in a WM last night and found massive quantities of both the Sentinal series and the Apokalypse series. They had clearly just come in, because someone (one of the employees presumably) had tried to hide the varients on the top shelf. Which didn't stop us; I picked up the bald Bishop, and my buddy grabbed the unmasked Wolverine (I couldn't believe he wanted another Wolvie... ). And I was able to replace my Iron Fist, which a friend's dog had chewed up :D . The best part is, they were $6.50! I assume that Toy Biz is clearing out the Wharehouse before the big change; has anyone else come across similar finds? My only worry is that these old guys will clog the pegs for waves 14 & 15; I never saw 13 in mass quantity (outside of the ultimate pegwarmer, Lady Deathstrike) partly because, I'm sure, there were still so many Legendary Riders and others around.

Well I did find a shelf full of the sentinel wave with the variants of cyclops and Angel right on the front pegs. Still 7.83 a piece though

Same sentinel wave restock in NW Arizona, though we didn't see any variants. Picked up a set at regular price so my son could have a second sentinel.

Our Walmarts (1 in Kingman, 1 in Bullhead City and 1 in Lake Havasu City) only got the even numbered waves last year, K-Mart got the odd numbers. Weird.

Toy Biz has no warehouses to clear out.

I can't speak for WM, but I had the same thing happen a couple of years ago and picked up 2 Red Skull and a couple of Thor figures. I think what happens is the various distribution centers clear out merchandise in anticipation of Christmas shipments from China (is anything made anywhere else in the world these days?). Cases of ML figures that have been awaiting replinishment orders are simply shoved out the doors to the stores to make room for incoming product.

Back when I worked for Rite Aid we would frequently get merchandise we didn't order in September & early October because the distribution center was emptying out prior to receiving Christmas stuff...

I'm wondering if we'll see the WM Giant-Man series show up because I've only seen a couple of figures and that was last week...

I hope so G2000...I hope so! I've only seen three GM figs and they were at some secondary market store going for the rgular asking price (Sentry: $20, Ant-Manand Havok: $15) I've really been busting my hump trying to find this wave and the first ones I see are twice the retail price? BANANAS!!!

Ares, I'm in the same boat you're in. So far I've only found Sabertooth, Ant-Man and Captain Britain. I really wanted to get enough of this series to help out a friend in Australia, but looks as though I'll never get a complete Giant Man - and I hear you HAVE to get the variant Wolverine to get one of the hands...

There is no justice in the world... :?

I'm with you guys on Giant Man...I've only got three or four parts. I also encountered ML figures from the Apocalypse and Sentinel series at Wally's recently, though I got there too late to know if any variants surfaced besides the puple outfit X-23. They're still priced at $7+, but it may afford me the privelege of a second Sentinel. I just chafe at the idea of buying ANOTHER Spider Man figure, to get the Sentinel's head.

At KayBee, the Onslaught wave has all but sold out, and Target is still trying to get rid of a bunch of Wonder Men and 'Weight Issues Thing' from the ML Riders series.

With the talk of ML 14 and when stores started getting them...instead the WM I go to received three cases of ML12's. I believe two variant cases and one regular. Was surprised to see many ML12 variants and I'm hoping others had the opportunity to find them.

With ML13...the same. Found variants easily in my area but no luck on the Wal-Mart exclusives with bearded Sentry.

But with ML12's still filling the pegs...not expecting anything new ML for awhile.

Yeah, that's kinda my point... I hate seeing all these old figures arriving so close to when a new wave is supposed to be out, because most of them are just going to sit there. Most collectors either have them or passed the first time. Likewise, I suspect we haven't seen FFC wave 2 anywhere because most TRUs got in late shipments that are just sitting there (except for the Super Skrulls), not to mention all those darn movie figures. Yesterday, at one of the TRUs I go to, I found a new case of Spider Man 2 figures!

If they discount the figures, they will sell. Eventually. But I see your point entirely. I haven't found half of the Wally's exclusive ML series, wave 14 is hitting in various places, but the only figures on the pegs locally (upstate NY) are from earlier releases. Like I said, I might build a second Sentinel if these things stay plentiful and prices drop, and there are probably other collectors who wouldn't mind spare Apocalypse parts, if the price is right.

Yet another two cases of apocalypse dumped at my wal mart just today - 1 of each variant right on the front of the pegs (2 of the wolvies)

Any of the Wolverine's come with the BLACK Apocalypse leg? I need to find a BLACK left leg for my build a figure. He looks silly with one blue leg.
