Fortress of Solitude playset?

A playlet was released as part of the Man of Steel sub theme tied into that movie's release. It was significant as the only way to get a Zoo figure (movie based, but so far the only one made).

Found the Batman/Swamp Thing two-pack and Steppenwolf at Toys R Us this weekend. My local store started its liquidation sale on Friday, and the place was already pretty picked over even though they were only offering 10% off most items.

That's awesome news regarding Supergirl!

Hope we get her really soon. Hopefully in a vehicle-themed pack.

Quick reporting on something else:

So I went to my nearest Toys R Us (about 150 mi away) to pay my respects. Probably for the last time before it closes. A lot of "clearance", "going out of business" ads on the windows, but pretty much business as usual. Most stuff was only 10-30% off. Imaginext was only 10% for now.

I went through the Imaginext aisle and picked up a few things I didn't have, which was really cool!

As I was about to leave, something caught my eye: at first I though it was part of the Castle and Knights sub-line, but then I saw the "DC Superfriends" logo.

Put it in the cart right away.

I kept thinking so how about that? They went all the way and made a Maxie Zeus figure. Way to go with the BTAS call back!

But then I read the back, and realized it's actually a Wonder Woman-related character.

Even though it's a re-purposed figure/vehicle, still pretty cool!

Sorry if you guys already reported on this (I missed the mention).

Have a cool week.

Is that a new Harley Quinn tank in your cart a swell? Haven’t seen that before... looks kinda like it’s either “roller derby” Harley or “suicide squad” harley ... hmmm

"Legends of Batman" is an exclusive subline to TRU, correct?
I'd probably get that Zeus pack if I ever ran across it.

Are there any other random but DC branded stuff like that out there/coming out?
I'd love an Ares pack, especially if the figure didn't have the pre-attached rocket pack on.

YES!!!

Also came to the realization about something else... The Lazarus Pit set is a slime based playset which means that it will come with real Mattel Slime! which will hopefully mean that the Slime! will also be available some other way (or at least they'll include an order form for replacement Slime! in the box).

Also, if you're in the Rio Grande Valley Area (from Roma to Brownsville), Blind Bags at Gamestop are a funny thing to look for: each store I visited had a lot of Blind Bag figures, but in pairs!
One store would have 55s and 56s, another one 57s and 58s, then 59s and 60s.
As if distributed like that on purpose.

...Either that, or there are collecting trolls in the area!

Whoa!

Just found this pics on eBay.

I didn't know IMAGINEXT had the Jurassic World franchise now. I guess Playskool Figures are out?

They look cool.

With all of the TRU' s closing, the stores I have visited don't seem to be getting new stock. That being said has anyone heard as to what is going to happen to the exclusives that they have? For example the Legends of Batman, new product but it's not hitting stores around my area and obviously not available on the TRU website. So the hope is it gets sent to Marshalls, TJMaxx, Ross or Big Lots stores?

I went to Big Lots during my lunch break just to see if there was anything interesting in the toy aisle. Behind some Power Rangers figures I found an Swamp Thing/Batman two pack for 7 dollars. First time I’ve seen that set at a store so needless to say I picked it up for my son.
