Anyone here collect Thundercats? I only own an original Lion-O but I'm hoping that some toy company picks up the license and produces newer figures.

Make it animated-style and I'm all for it! Of course, I could say that for every line... Peace, Chip

that sounds great Chip. I was thinking the same thing to have an animated style i've seen peope on other boards make custom animated figures. If you go to Joecustoms.com One person made GIJOE style customs of some of the Thundercats.

These guys have really been going up in price since the DVDs were released. I was lucky enough to have a near complete collection by then from thrift stores and such over the past 10 years. Took awhile to get all the weapons though.

Anyone remember trying to find these when they first came out? In all the stores where I grew up, it was nothing but Mutants - no Lion-O or other 'good guys' anywhere...my parents had the hardest time looking for these.

I've been contemptating starting my own collection. I had most of them when I was a kid & was a HUGE fan of the show. Then I gave them all away when I grew older. Now I want them back............. BTW, I found out there was no Santa Claus by finding the Thundertank I'd asked Santa for hidden in my parent's closet. Memories......

I have all the cats except for Jaga, the Thundertank,Grune and Mumm Ra and the Mutants.I was quite lucky with the auctions at the time.the T-tank had a broken track so I got it for peanuts(in the box!!)-but the track was really easily repaired
I only plan on getting the Lair,Jaga,Cruncher and Safari Joe-then Im done.
I wouldnt object to new line though......

arent those the really difficult ones to get?whats worse is with most 80s lines you come across folks who sell them for peanuts at one time or another-Ive yet to see that with the Cats......reasonable?yes
Unreasonably cheap?no
Ill keep an eye out though man Im on Ebay all the time trying to scope 80s gear

It needs a new toyline. I think a collector driven toyline would sell due to the nostalgia factor especially consider that 'Cats had the best toyline in the eighties. I know I'D collect it.
