I've been getting more excited lately thinking of new Toy Biz er....Marvel Toys figures of some of my favorite comics' characters of the nineties; it should be a great ride.
I'm just hoping you guys are not limited to Marvel/DC....
(Time for bigger shelves) Oh hell yeah....

Thanks for the Antman info y'all. How much does that 5'' Avengers set normally sell for though? And I won't be getting any of the LH figures. I just don't know any of the characters and much less like the idea of shelling a bunch of cash to get Pitt, which is the main attraction for me.

You're right, Dan. I forgot about Conan. I'll be getting that.
I already have a perfectly good Judge Dredd figure in this scale, so no sale there.
Mike (The rest I have absolutely no interest in)

You might wanna hold off on Conan, Mike, as Jesse has said that they can make figures from his entire comics history, meaning that a BWS or Busema style Conan is pretty likely. That is, assuming you're like me like to only have one version of each character on your shelf. I, BTW, will be avoiding the Image figures like the plague, sinse most of those comics give me hives. I'll be buying Madman and Conan, and that's probably it so far. Maybe Savage Dragon, as I don't dislike Larson as strongly as I do Silvestri and Top Cow. I'd really like to put Monkeyman together, but I'm not buying all of those guys for him. Looks like it'll be parts on eBay time. Oh God, you don't think they're going to make a Michael Turner Fathom figure, do you?

I'll be getting many of these toys.
They look like great toys, and I'm a guy who likes cool-looking toys, as opposed to the guys who want toys of certain characters.
And many of these characters, like Judge Dredd and Conan, I also happen to love.
But some like Darkness and Pitt, those just look cool. And they look like some of the coolest toys coming out this year.
Yeah, I'm getting a bunch.

If anyone could answer a couple of these Q's, I'd appreciate it. #1 Which Beast is the best fig to get? The cat faced version or the one with the laptop thing hooked to him? #2 Are the Nightcrawler and Magneto figures from the X-men line Ultimate versions? Thanks, JJ

Thanks, JJ Neither Beast from the X-Men line is particularly comic accurate, because of the armor. But the cat head is much more in keeping with his current appearance. I think that the Nightcrawler figure was based on his Xtreme X-Men look. Mags I'm pretty sure is Ultimate. Can't say for sure on either, though.

Ok... quick one.
Are any of the Rhino figures from the Spiderman lines any good? And isn't the one from SM Origins just a repaint of an earlier one? Thanks,
JJ

Ok, thanks. I might end up getting the Magneto since the Series 3 one is just a reused Iron Man body.
