Does Mattel having the DC Master License have any impact on original sculpts and oversized figures for JLU

In the same vein of thought, does having the DC Master License supersede the "appearing on the show" only caveat or can Mattel now make animated-style figures of any character in the DCU that they can get cleared through DC/WB?

How will the new DCSH waves be assembled now that Mattel has the full DC license? Will they mix the A-level villians and heroes first, or mix them with B and C list characters? And how many characters per wave?

If in the case that BAF's are a go, what base are you going by? Will they be simply another figure you can make, or will the BAF option be a way to get oversized characters into the line? Also, any chance of a vehicle like WW's Jet, a Batmobile or Javelin 7 for DSCH? Maybe even a vehicle for a BAV... Oh, and with the new license, could characters from the JLU comic (It's based on the show and put through Johnny DC, the kids marketing group of DC) be made, even though not necessarily having appearances on the show? Thanks, JJ

Why do you keep _________( put in word of rage) with the fans by putting figures on the box then not putting them out. and what is so secret about these figures that you can't answer questions on waves or what you will put out in each quarter of a year?
not that anyone will answer this

Hey gang,
Toyguru here. You'll see me posting online now that BoyWonder was in that unforunate smelting/bus accident.
Wanted to let folks know a bit more about the surprise in the Grodd pack. In order to meet costs and keep Grodd in proper scale, we were not able to have another newly sculpted JLU character. Getting Grodd done right and correct was very important to us. BUT we did want to throw in some of the unexpected. The surprise character is a repaint, but it is a repaint NO ONE has guessed yet!
We'll be revealing this at Comic Con in just a few weeks. (along with lots other big big news)

Thanks for the insight. I don't think any of us were expecting a newly sculpted 2nd figure, but more of a new head on an existing standard body which created a new character (Tomar Re is a new head on standard body plus new paint = new character).
I'll ask that folks post their guesses in the existing Grodd package thread nd not here. Let's keep this as questions for Mattel.

Admittedly, I haven't read through this whole thread, and ToyGuru mentioned that we haven't guessed right on the extra figure in the grodd pack. But, I'm really hoping for a Lex Luthor with green fatigues variant. It would make sense as it was the outfit that he wore when he faced off against Grodd. I'm usually not one for repaints, but a LOD Luthor is near the top of my list of figures I'd love get made.
