With everything changing for the DCSH line, I was wondering how much the packaging will change besides the obvious brand name on the package. What would you like to see? As for me I am torn between the old Marvel Legends package and keeping things very similar so the go with my MOC DCSH collection.

One thing I would like to see regardless is character bios. I think those are a must.

I'd love to see character bios. ...but would would Mattel do it since they're in love with the tri-lingual packaging? Maybe character bios could go on the back of the dioramas, or get rid of the dioramas all together and replace them with character bio cards?

well switching packages doesnt matter to me much cause im an opener but character stats would be cool. really like the cardboard style as its easier to open. how bout some mail in rebates for collectors of the whole wave/and or series.

I think character bios are great for kids as well as they can get some insight to who some of these characters actually are.

I think character bios would be a very cool idea. GIJoe had a mythology practically based on Larry Hama's bios on their cards in the eighties. I think a description or at least a trading card would be cool. Since Jim Lee apparently has zero interest in pencilling his books anymore with DC maybe he can make a card line for this line.
I think having a bio of Superman and something that measures how fast and powerful he is would be very cool.
I'm actually sad to hear the name of the line change; I've supported this line for a long time in hopes of this happening and now it's....new. I'm not complaining of course, but it's kind of like when your favorite team changes uniforms after winning it all.
I like the Hasbro Marvel Legends packaging a lot. It'd be great to see some cool comin art on the DCSH packages. That's my 2 cents.

I love the bios idea. Most kids buy a character just because he looks cool and don't really know anything about them.

I'm a big fan of character bios also. The packaging question might be a good one for the "Ask Mattel" thread. I doubt they would provide info quite as specific as the TB Legends though, since DC doesn't like to clearly quantify (commit themselves to) upper limits of strength, speed, etc.

As a person who has some of his collection MoC, Mattel kills me, dating back to Justice League! Marvel Legends was great under Toy Biz, with their consistent packaging. To be fair though, Mattel usually improves their packaging every time they change it, even if it is just going from orange to purple; JLU was a HUGE improvement as well. I am looking forward to seeing what they do for DCUC.

I'm curious because at the Mattel they said the packaging would be "collector friendly" I am always at a loss as to what that means...

Character bios would be cool but I think they should be on trading cards rather than on the packages. I think the new DC Animated Universe line should come with a figure or figures, accessories, trading card, and a stand for all of the figures.
The packaging could have power levels and stuff on them as that would be easier for a trilingual audience.
